That's like being a 5 star recruit in hoops wanting to go to a team that can make the Final Four and scheduling a visit to Gonzaga

Obviously clippers got a lot of talent but are just missing something.

I'd like for him to choose either MIA or GS. OKC had 9 years and couldn't get it done.

most of those 9 years were due to injures and lack of experience. even if KD joins GSW they would have to create cap space and let go either Bogut or Iggy. then they would have to find players to fill the bench and they don't have the money to sign solid bench players if KD were to sign with GSW. i know the big four would play close to the 48 minute mark each game. then there would be conflicts on who would touch the ball.

just look at LBJ and the MIA situation. he won two rings with that team and people expected him to win more than two with his former super friends.

as for MIA being a fit for KD is ludicrous. why would KD sign with a team that LBJ had already made his mark there? I don't see it. the best two teams that'll help KD get a ring are OKC and GSW. those are two team that'll help KD win a ring.

As far as your second point, yea the Heat won two rings, and of course people expected them to win more. That wasnt an unrealistic expectation

Yup. He comes to the Spurs and he could just do what he does...score. He won't have to expend a lot of energy. Kawhi hustling, grabbing rebounds, getting steals, running breaks, and locking down the opponents best wing player.

Not on the level of a LeBron or Kobe. It was easy for people to hate Lebron after the decision because most of them already were hating on him in Cleveland. I don't think there would be that much backlash if he did go to the Warriors.
