He's living another day, worth millions of dollars, and is running a basketball team. Dude has tons of reasons to smile and they report that as a KD sign :mjlol:

Maybe KD will be posting this if he decides to leave

And he just signed the best center that franchise has had since Robert Parish.

If durant stays in okc, watch he signs a 1 year deal

Two years 2nd year player option. I have always felt the ultimate goal was for KD to set his contract up so he and Russell will be free agents at the same time (next year).

Still believe that will be the case.

I'm surprised SAS hasn't been on this:mjlol:

He must be on vacation
SAS said he retired from the daily rumor mill stuff after "The Decision". Only reports something if he hears it but he not doing the Woj, Broussard, Mark Stein, DA beat anymore. Remember Sportscenter called him during vacation to settle the Dwight Howard to Houston/LA nonsense:mjlol:

Ya boy @Eye Cue 182 has never let yall down...

I think the current Warriors talk is a smokescreen. Of all the teams he listened to:

The Celtics had the face to face best meeting.

The Celtics have the best history.

The Celtics have the best draft/cap/roster flexibility.

The Celtics have the easier conference.

The Celtics will get him the least media backlash.

The Celtics offer him the best chance to elevate his legacy.

I mean, the longer 'The Decision' (hate that term) goes, the more I see Durant leaving. IMO, this entire FA process has been about Durant wanting a an organization he can believe in, top to bottom. Plus I think he knows Westbrook is more than likely bouncing from OKC next summer. I'm just don't think Durant wants to go through this again 12 months from now. As soon as I saw he seriously considering other team pitches and meeting face to face with them, I knew his would seriously consider leaving.

When the entire FA process started, Durant was probably thinking:

"My heart says stay in OKC but my brain says listen to other teams..."

I just think over the last week, that has changed up to...

"My heart says I should go while my brain says just go back to OKC for a year"

My choice is Kevin Durant to Boston Celtics and the league will be better for it.
