Both moves lack heart, but at least with bron it was a somewhat understandable move.
Mo Williams being your second option and free agents not wanting to come to Cleveland, it was just a horrible situation for him.

He didnt go to the magic or Celtics tho, this p*ssy durant took a bytch move by bron and lifted it to new levels of bytchassness. Fukk that p*ssy breh
Your right he didn't go to magic or celtics, he went to a even better team :snoop:

That argument is dumb as shyt

I'm looking forward to a lot of things next season:

- Rose staying healthy (and the Knicks as a unit) and showing he still is one of the best PGs in the game - Knicks making playoffs
- How the Celtics go with a legit big man option - the one thing they were missing last season
- What kind of unicorn statline Westbrook will put up

- How G.Hill, Diaw and Iso Joe will add a much needed balance to an inexperienced Jazz squad - playoff berth
- How good the Magic's frontcourt defense will be (argument for best in the league) and how all their pieces will fit
- How Giannis will go as the fulltime PG, plus how the Bucks' FA additions (Teletovic is going to wonders for their floor spacing) add value to their squad
- If Wade does leave Miami, how will he go taking a backseat and adapting to a new system
- Howard trying to rekindle his game now that he will be the centerpiece again in his hometown
- Who out of the top picks (Simmons, Ingram, Brown and Dunn) separates themselves from the pack
- Watching the T'Wolves build on last season (particularly on defense) with Thibs as coach

- Porzingis taking the next step into stardom
- Seeing Embiid actually suit up and take the floor
- How good the Rockets' offense will be with the additions of Anderson/Gordon and D'Antoni as coach

And that's just off the top of my head - you can stop following me around and get off my dikk now.

If Durant comes to Golden State & dominates like how Lebron did in Miami, I can see the history books looking at this decision more favorably (outside of OKC fans)

If he's Kevin Love on the Cavs status....:ld:

If he dominates history will see him as only a winner, brehs talking about asterisks and all that other clown shyt need to :camby:

The thunder did not start from the ground up.
They jettisoned a team that had playoff potential and nightly mismatch potential. If they were not trying to steal the sonics away from Seattle like they were the Cleveland Browns or Baltimore colts both sauntering off into the night to other cities. This org trade away Rey rey, did not resign flip or Lewis.
Plus had Durant and pulled a coup to steal the sonics.
Then, after that lowballed or restricted players stashed on the roster via lack of minutes.
To try to resign them as low quality.
based on lack of court time via the old salary cap and bargaining agreement.
Like they did harden and it failed and continued to do so.
Plus did hot develop perry Jones and Jones was able to score in durant absent.
to the tune of close to thirty a game in the start of the 2014 season.
So, fukk the thunder.

Thunder made their shytty bed and created the lack of good faith parameter.
that durant swerved away from.
It was bound to happen because russ is going to leave for la, and that was a foregone conclusion.
Plus, the thunder always played lIke fukk winning here.
or I am stuck in swaggerless thieving ass okc thunder org.

If you did not see this coming back in Seattle, then you lauced't.

They did start from the ground up. The year Durant was drafted, it was the same year the Supersonics traded Ray Allen to start anew. They were under brand new ownership. The owner is from Oklahoma and wanted to bring his franchise there and literally build the team there. They weren't anything near playoff potential. They were the youngest team in the league for several seasons and made it to the finals in just 4 years since the move to OKC. The problem was them unable to get back to the finals, and that's largely due to injuries. Harden had to go because he wanted to be his own man, and Houston had more money and the opportunity to be the leader of the team. You cannot fault OKC for that and they got a sweet return from it. Injuries held them back and the mental toughness was what ruined them last season with their habit of blowing 4th quarter leads. That's not on the staff, but the players mentality to include Durant who's no longer clutch. The only ONE that had heart consistently was Westbrook.

I TOTALLY agree that it was going to happen sooner or later. And the people that took issue with this, myself included, had no PROBLEMS with Durant leaving OKC. This isn't even ABOUT him leaving. It's about who he's chosen. Had he said he was joining the CLIPPERS, it wouldn't be a negative backlash... at worse, a small group of Thunder fans disappointed, but they would of respected it, because he was going to a team that with HIM on that roster would of easily be a finals contender without him compromising his own integrity of himself as a competitor. He'll be joining a squad that themselves never won it, it would be in L.A., he'll be the face of that team and that city with a deep front and bench. NOBODY would hate on that.

But Durant took the p*ssy route and bandwagon'd a team that really did not NEED him, and really only wanted him because they feared if he stay at OKC or joined any other team that could threaten their run to the finals. To play a lesser role for lesser money which lessens his brand AND legacy, because nobody is going to view the BAY as the Durant's city, because he won't be the LEADER of that team. It expose him as a ring chaser instead of the ring coming to him. A paper champion player no different from how Steve Kerr is a paper champion coach.

I also think there is more talk happening behind the scenes with players that we don't know about. People need to remember the power Lebron now has in his organization. KD would never have the open checkbook Lebron has to build a team; no matter where he went. KD wants to win ring(s) so I think he was encouraged to make a move or as printed "shake things up". Good free agents were not coming to OKC and I think he finally realized that. His injury changed things for him and made winning soon a top priority. That's probably why he chose GSW over Boston.

Lebron and KD both wanted to win and did what was best to accomplish that goal. I would've left after my rookie contract if I was in either of their position. Too talented and generate too much revenue to be taking pay cuts and ring-less for so long. NBA front offices trade and waive players all the time and everyone says it's what's best for the team or business (ex. D.Rose and Chalmers) I'm hoping everything works out for him.

:dame: It is pretty lame on KD's part to join the team that beat him. Especially if you look at the whole picture and situation.

But I ain't gonna hate him tho, He's a grown man, he makes his own decisions. :manny:

I'm all for the top notch fukkery and entertainment this will bring tho :whew:

I, think people are overlooking the Jerry west connection.
West created this lakers like braintrust, and executed.
I have yet to see people connect this ti what west always does and did.

Jerry west is a beast.
