from just a pure BASKETBALL sense, i don't see how people can equate KD going to GSW vs Lebron going to miami.

1 . Miami was a 1 and done playoff playoff team even with D wade in his prime. (The warriors are coming off back to back finals appearances and 1 ring)

2. The Heat's second best player was michael beasley. (The warriors have 3 players who made the all nba team)

3. The heat essentially had to gut their roster to sign lebron and bosh with the cap room they had. (The warriors will lose 2 guys who didn't show up in the finals last year and maybe some more scrubs)

4. Miami was starting the corspe of mike bibby and joel anthony their 1st year togethor because they didn't have anyone else. (The warriors will probably have the best starting 5 or top starting 5 in league history.)

KD won't catch the same kind of hate lebron did, by in large part because of who lebron was and the wavering opinions both bad and good lebron had on him. People in general do not have the same racist filled vitriol against durant like they did against lebron james.
