The influence of LBJ's blueprint will continue to resonate for decades in both sports and life
:blessed: LBJ Top5dRa

Props to KD for having the guts to be selfish and not follow a story book narrative, but instead follow LBJ's blueprint

Props to the Warriors for being able to convince an opponent you just beat to join the team

Props to LBJ for his sacrifices and lessons on life

Props to Savannah for insuring the continuation of the King's bloodline, last name and future impact on sports

The 215
The 2008-10 cavaliers say hello. The 2013 thunder's best player after KD and Russ was Kevin Martin.
I don't care who said hello. You can't win that many games with bums fam. They might not be household names or superstars but bums nah fam. If that was the case weak teams with one superstar would win 60 plus games all the time. Like I said below its just hard for me to say a team with that many wins is weak sorry

I don't know breh, that Cavs team went from 61 wins wit 'Bron down to 19, 21, 24, 33 wins in the 4 seasons without him.
I feel you fam but its hard for me to say a team that wins that many games has a weak supporting cast. They just the dudes that get blamed when its convenient.

My Set
While I'm very disappointed in KDs decision, I respect any man that follows his heart and has the guts to step outside of his comfort zone.

With that being said, KD is a punk.

Now LBJ spent seemingly a lifetime in CLE dominating the NBA with garbage players. His best player in those early CLE runs was Big Z and Mo Williams. LBJ was so other worldly, that he turned a mediocre PG in Mo Williams into an All Star in 09. CLE was trash and never surrounded LBJ with the players needed to compete for a ring. He goes to Miami, a team 4 years removed from a championship. Lets be real, the only relevancy the Heat had after winning the ring in 06 was drafting Mike Beasley at number 2 in 08. Miami was mediocre and wasn't relevant as championship contenders. LBJ joins them while they weren't winning and turns them into a champion.

KD's situation is completely the opposite. He grows in a A+ organization in OKC. They get Russ, Harden, Ibaka. They make the Finals in 2012 and lose. Barring those injury riddled seasons, OKC has been a championship contender every year since 2012. They were one shot away from the NBA Finals this year. So close. KD and Russ are two MVP candidates every year.

KD leaves a championship contender for a team at the height of it's success and the very same team that defeated you. That's spineless. Where is the pride in todays NBA? He was one shot away from the NBA finals. They definitely would've beaten them in a 7 game series this year with Oladipo in the mix. OKC management made championship moves each year. Getting Kanter. Getting Adams. Getting Oladipo.

KD leaves HIS team and goes to Stephs team; the team team that repeatedly ripped his heart out. LBJ didn't go join the Spurs or the Celtics.

KD what were you thinking man? "If you can't beat em, Join em."

I'm well aware that they had been 'recruiting' him so to speak, prior to the offseason. That still doesn't take away from what I said. If the Warriors did win back-to-back titles, it would've had an impact on Durant's decision just like Barnes ballin out in the Finals would've had an impact on the Warriors pursuing Durant too.

This is nothing but conjecture just like most of your :trash: posts, plus there was no way that GS would have passed up an opportunity to get a player of Durant's caliber in his prime who's a 4 time league scoring champion & generational superstar, over Harrison Barnes (and I'm a Barnes fan).
