LeBron gets the benefit of the doubt because he's LeBron and i am not a LeBron fan at all but that's how it goes. People are always gonna assume that if the '15 Cavs were healthy... they win.

2016 didn't do much to dispel that narrative.

Then Durant comes over and turns GSW into a 'superteam' instead of the homegrown core that was assembled "the right way"

Why people pretend not to understand all that... not sure. But that's how history wrote the run. This year's run is huge for Steph's legacy and a bad deal for Durant.. that's why Durant so hurt.
These are some crazy narratives you’re running with. So if Steph loses then what happens?

I know KD is rooting for the Celtics hard as hell :pachaha:

Damn shame because it was consensus back then that KD was the best player on the Warriors but now he’s insecure as fukk about his time there as many predicted
Because of statements like people are making in here. Like dudes are mad at me for laughing at them saying Steph is clearly better than KD. KD was literally a foot away from shutting all this down last year. That’s why I keep saying what Kyrie did this year is the biggest betrayal of all time.

Brehs really said "Steph is actually only 3-0 in conference finals w/out KD", "He's only 1-1 in the Finals w/out KD", "B-b-but...KD is special. He took his team to the finals a decade ago" to argue KD is better than Steph :dead:

Steph is 6'2 and KD is 6'10. The fact that we're even having this conversation about the two is a point in Steph's column. KD's offensive ability is predicated on his length. Steph's is predicated on his off ball movement and his release.

Steph is also just way better mentally than KD as a leader and part of a team. How can you be a locker room leader Tweeting at randoms from a burner account? You gonna tell the young heads on the team they need to focus, and then get in Twitter battles w/ ppl w/ 78 followers? :pachaha:

KD went from getting hoe'd by Bron in the Finals in OKC to getting hoe'd by Westbrook in the WCF (not demanding the ball in the 4th) to getting hoe'd by Golden State joining them when he had no business doing so (and everyone on the team & front office knew it - from Dray to the GM), to getting hoe'd by Harden and Kyrie, and soon to be hoe'd by old age.

It is what it is brehs :manny:

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Idk why GSW had to be homegrown and LeBron has NEVER done that. He brought Kevin Love with him by trading the Wiggins pick. LeBron has never won a chip assembling “the right way”. He just traded away the Lakers core for AD. And best believe if an opportunity comes, he’ll trade away reaves, THT, etc for another superstar

LeBron used to get the same level of hate but going to the Cavs in '15 and then winning the next year vs. a 73-9 team put to rest a lot of the Miami narratives that were out there... but now LeBron getting old... no doubt those Miami rings will be used against him in future arguments Lmao..

For whatever reason Giannis and Dirk never get hated on and to me that's because of the aforementioned "right way" ..

Giannis damn near received the credit for two rings last year the way people crowned him. To me... all the narrative BS is way overblown and retarded but that's the culture we have in NBA discourse.

Don’t forget getting Hoed by Tatum, even tho the had the “most skilled player” in the league by his side. In addition, that “most skilled player” only played 29 games, and had fresh legs going into the playoffs :sas2:

KD not on the team anymore so it has no effect on kd, there is nothing steph can do to change the fact kd got carried when it mattered most

revisionist history is acting like the only reason the cavs didnt lose in 5 is a bogut injury/dray suspension

nikkas will use cavs injuries to discredit Steph/GS but never use injuries to give leeway to them. yall nikkas aint shyt
nikkas comparing ANDREW BOGUT to Kyrie and Kevin Love 😂😂

nikkas comparing a 1 game suspension to 2 stars missing an OT period and 5 games

These convos are so funny cuz everyone accuses everyone of being disingenuous and that’s what you’re all doing :laff:

This entire KD vs. Steph argument is going to be definitively settled once the Warriors beat the Celtics. It's clear who's been more successful without the other. KD is a greater talent than Steph (can't practice your way to his length) but Steph's accomplishments & impact on the game > KD's.

KD stans can try to hang their hats on the two FMVPs, but that argument is on borrowed time. I've got a feeling Steph's Finals MVPs w/out KD > KD's w/out Steph's
Hard to even say he's a greater talent

He just has a physical advantage, that's it.
