Steph is in the Finals now so people will have recency bias and revise history. Fact is Steph could not go 1v1 with Bron in the closing minutes. I saw Bron swat his sh*t multiple times and bully him. And he would’ve did it in 2017 and 2018 too if they didn’t get help. Now did they need KD persay? Probably not. Just another big SF that could guard Bron. But that’s what KD provided. They can talk sh*t now because Bron is old and probably won’t be a threat anymore but lets not pretend he didn’t apply hella pressure and come back from being 3-1. That’s why you ran to get the second best SF in the league.
