KD is getting up there in age he won't get back quite as much as you think.
We’ll see. There’s what he’s worth which I agree with you on…but then there’s what you gotta overpay to win the bidding war. You’re literally bidding vs half the league (which is why the ‘It’s Phoenix or miami’ thing is BS)

Oh I didn’t see that…in reality that shouldn’t even matter. That’s been a factor only when a player has 1-2 years left on the deal. KD is on a whole 4 year deal

But for whatever reasons these teams are standing down and letting players do whatever. Makes no sense bc if KD lands on a legit winning team wtf he gon do. Not a damn thing but play. And win too
Yeah I never really understood that either, but I think teams just don’t like to be spiteful like that because it can ruin various relationships around the league and future ones. I can see them seeking the best deal but ultimately doing what’s best for KD too.

It makes more sense move that they are about to do a complete rebuild.
They’re not gonna rebuild though. They gave all of their picks to Houston. They can’t rebuild, there’s no benefit to them getting high draft picks, Brooklyn is gonna want players to help them win.

Ayo @Eric Brooks, they been talking in Boston (that includes Brian Scalabrine on the C's draft show, and now Felger and Mazz) about trading Jaylen for Durant. U down with that? They out here saying that Jaylen is a flight risk cuz he signed with DONDA Sports and that must scare the Celtics :mjlol:

Lebron's got a different game and body type. He also doesn't have a blown ACL in his past. I don't know if a comparison to Durant is one-to-one like that.

kevin durant, lebron james and seth curry are the only guys where "age" doesn't matter

all will be 34+ when the season began and teams would still trade whatever they can to get them

durant tore his acl and achilles and is about to be 34 and half the nba called within the hour of the news breaking.

you think a team like phoenix who have come up short the past two years and chris paul is 37 is about to think of but what about ten years from now?
