Why didn’t Curry get the FMVP?KD wasn’t the #1 in KD bro it was always curry… GS don’t get to the finals without Curry or win it without Curry… How you think KD was able to eat getting ZERO double teams during that run? Ty Lue already told y’all what it was.. his sole purpose was to stop Curry full stop..
Because the voters held one game against him just like they gave Iggy FMVP in 2015 when Curry was clearly the best player on the winning teamWhy didn’t Curry get the FMVP?
Imagine just the mere thought the thought of KD making you angry enough to type whole essays on the internet.
My guy was dreaming about KD. Ain't even eat breakfast yet.At 7am at that Wake up angry at KD brehs
Interesting, given your takes in the Kobe-Timmy thread.#1 options don't let other teammates win back-to-back finals mvps, and first one wasn't even close
They hated him because he was jaking it to get out. KD never did thatHe didn't run from the grind. He was taking them to the playoffs. Philly was sick of him because he kept getting into trouble. The relationship soured.
Maybe cause he already led a team to 2 chips as their best player. We can’t just unsee shyt cause you hope soWhy would he leave, they were still contenders dude. Okc stayed with a top 5 roster. They were the most talented roster in the league in 2016, to be completely honest
They just had bad luck with injuries in 2014 and 2015 it had nothing to do with a lack of talent or management or wateva, KD just hasn't been good enough to lead a team to a chip. I don't know why y'all try to Juelz around that fact and continue to pacify dude
What a casual take. And it's not even like it's a definitive or undisputed one at that. It's just lazy and uninformed.Three or four playoff rounds, tops, doesn't undo how much of a load he didn't have to burden or "lead" on the whole. (Two of those series the coach of the opposing team openly admitted he gave KD, yes Kevin fukkin Durant, 2nd option treatment lol, but wateva)Maybe cause he already led a team to 2 chips as their best player. We can’t just unsee shyt cause you hope so
Somebody had to win fmvp. Let’s not act like they wasn’t highly favored in every finalsKD is that guy. He was literally about to 3peat MVP before he got hurt.
I understand the need for debate. But let's not rewrite history.

When you come out staing dumb shyt like kd can't lead as a #1 of course you're gonna get net with ridicule when he's already done that. And even if he didn't, you can't watch kds game and playoff career and come to the conclusion he couldn't lead as a #1. You sound exactly like the people who said Kobe couldn't win without shaq its a dumb premise from the jump. Imagine a team saying "Nah we can't build around kd he can't win as a #1", you'd lose your job instantly. Your desire to make kd's championships invalid aren't going to make them dissappear. This is reality and in real time we saw kd dominate back-to-back and that's just it. All the other shyt is fake news. What a casual take. He's played with multiple all NBA players and MVPs on all 3 franchises he's been on, he's folded and didn't "lead" two of those franchises....but the franchise he did "lead" were already made men before, and now after the 'marriage'. But the said "leader" of the back2back winning franchise can't say the same....In fact, it's a fact, he's gone out in embarrassing fashion at least 50% of the time he wasn't in the 'marriage'. Including an embarrassing loss to the made men he "led", just the year before he took over as there "leader" lol.
And I mean lead in both an on and off court context.
It's mountains of evidence and precedence that points to the contrary of that tired narrative and it's a pretty elementary observation honestly...but alot of y'all KD stans seem to be a lil slow and suffer from some sort of dissociative disorder so it probably won't dawn on you til after the object of your affection is no longer that. But in the meantime, have at it
I didn't invalidate his championships bro, you're just a fanboy so you interpreted it as such. All I did was properly contextualize his role on those teams. I don't wanna downplay nor over inflate what KD meant to GS, he was integral and he was the Co-MVP of those teams, there is absolutely no disputing that man. Peep the prefix tho, CO....the problem comes from you Skip Bayless jrs who hyper inflate KDs role on that team all for the purpose of advancing a narrative....and to make it worse, really just off the strength of two playoff series. Two series in which he was treated as the 2nd option by the opposition. That's FACT bro, it's not my opinion. When you come out staing dumb shyt like kd can't lead as a #1 of course you're gonna get net with ridicule when he's already done that.
