Dude is gonna be udonis haslem status in portland even when he no longer gets playing time if he wants.
Which I don't understand. Outside of one conference finals run, they've done nothing of note in the past 10 yrs.

Free KD

Tsai and Marks wanna “reestablish the culture” they had before aka keep these nikkas in line and dancing on the sidelines :mjpls: fired damn near all the black coaches too. When the truth comes to light you’ll see.

I think it has more to do with the fact that at the end of the day it's still a job. If you happy with your job, and the company can't find someone else better to replace you, you will stick around. Most people aren't packing up and relocating every 2 years if they don't have to. Low key it's more unusual that all these other superstars are voluntarily becoming journeyman, and giving up larger paydays in order to pursue playoff success. When they retire with a bunch of trophies but 80 million dollars poorer they will probably regret the decision. Easy to pass on those deals when you know another one is around the corner. but when you 50 something, and a couple of those investments don't work out as planned that extra 80 mill might be worth more to you than that ring.

Kd is far more skilled than dirk. Dirk relied on size and shooting but his bag was limited in general due to his lack of mobility and handle. Kd a whole different animal with his handle.

Disagree, he was more mobile than Dirk was but thats likley diminished in the next 2 years, now at 34 hes in the same mould as Dirk being a tall perimeter shooting 4....i think last years playoffs would be the first red flag that injuires and age are becoming a factor just like it became a huge factor when Dirks offense started eroding at 34.

Wouldnt be shocked at all if KD this upcoming season scoring averages fell down to 23-24 PPG...

not only is KD 134, but he's missed like 150 games in the last 3 seasons. and the nets are wondering why they aren't getting more teams willing to offer young talent plus like 8 picks for dude.

I wouldn't want the bulls to make that trade either. the asking price is way too high given his age. I don't care how good he was in 2021 playoffs. what does that have to do with now?
When ur mid 30s 2 years ago is a lifetime....his 2022 playoffs is the one thats a red flag for me....

You can'y compare him to 98% of players when all his life he's been 1 percenter. Dude is elite and the dudes these teams don't want to give up ain't never gonna reach KD levels.
I can because im compariong the one thing he doesnt have the advantage over and thats father time breaking down ur body...youve already seen that the last 3 years....facts are its less than 3% of players at his level maintain these levels of production beyond ur 34th/35th year....it just doesnt happen...

KD being in the 1 percent in his prime has zero reflection on when he starts declining.PLenty of top 25 all time NBA players started declining at 31,32....because ur a 1% doesnt mean you stay in that 1% til 40 like LeBron doesnt work like that bruh....theres enough signs pointing already to KD about to decline...

1 Im comparing dirk and kd. Kd's handle is far superior to dirk and he has the best handle ever for someone his size.

HIs handle is gonna be less effective with each passing year as his foot speed gets alot slower....
