this lack of leadership narrative is very overstated. i cant speak to why exactly he was that terrible vs boston but i dont think it was due to lack of leadership or brooklyn not having a clear leader. brooklyn's biggest issue on the court last year was roster construction. it doesnt excuse getting swept, but youre not going to win a title or even make a deep run when durant and bruce brown are the only non bigs in your rotation at least 6'4.

The only GS fans that hate are insecure steph stans. GS fans literally have no reason to hate dude. He was best performer on 2 finals teams and he threw the organization a bone when he left by facillitating the trade that ultimately netted them wiggins and Poole. Literally had no reason to do that. Meanwhile KD, a superstar, is STILL looking for a home. A place where he is beloved. You know, like ALL the other superstars in the league. And for some reason, he can’t find it. This hasn’t happened before.
…almost like he’s not loved anywhere. OKC doesn’t want him back. Warriors are largely apathetic towards the guy. And Nets fans have lost interest.
Man. Steph’s success really got this man in a box. Such is life tho…when you’re legacy isn’t cemented

he went to the FO to ask them to fire SVG, that leaked to the media and the media was asking SVG about it, then Dwight showed up to the interview to stand next to him. SVG before Dwight came said he knows the reports of Dwight wanting him fired are true

I don’t think BKN is going to get the return they’re looking for. Doubling down isn’t working for them either. BKN is going to lose this trade no matter what.

same, but the cost would be too high so i dont even give the scenario any thoughtI appreciate what KD did for us, I don't miss the tension for the last season (even the 2nd to a degree), but depending on the cost, I'd welcome him back.
