Kyrie recruited kd to Brooklyn, so by refusing to extend kyrie they basically pulling a power move. Kd didn't sign up to play with Ben Simmons.
KD wanted to play with Kyrie. It was a mutual desire for both to play together in BK.

If KD's BFF wasnt a selfish a$$hole, none of this would happen. And if KD was a leader that his teammates respected, Kyrie would sacrifice and get the Covid shot.

I'd move on from Nash, but I'd call his bluff with Marks and any other terms he believes he can dictate. If he acts stupid, send him home for conduct detrimental to the team. If he refuses to play, let him sit out & rot without pay. You signed a four year deal, buddy. The organization bent over backwards to appease you & your boy. Play ball or don't but you're not calling any more shots.

If Golden State winning done caused this much turmoil in his life, just imagine if they repeat 😬
Dude might contemplate retirement.

Be a leader and just run it back, quit being a lil hoe. Your team is still highly favored to hoist the trophy, so it's not a talent issue. That is, if hes what people continue to project him as

People always run to the “let him sit at home” rhetoric without ever considering the fact that it doesn’t help the organization to have their most valuable asset at home playing COD …it’s like that part which is the most important never connects in nikkas brains no matter how many times we see this play out lol

it doesn’t help your W/L total it doesn’t increase his trade value it doesn’t do anything for the morale or locker room ….there’s literally 0 positive in this strategy outside of exercising your scorned ex lover syndrome

Just for fukkery purposes ship kyrie for :youngsabo: and let KD pout until the trade deadline. The combination of watching kyrie hoop at another team and russy back chucking away will finally make the hot grits fall off his scalp. His trade value is not going to go down if he sits and the owner already said that he prefers a hard working 40 win team . Nobody works harder and shows up everyday more than :russ: they probably get better offers by desperate teams at the deadline :hubie:

Btw, Shams was on The Pat McAffee Showand said flat out that this never happened :dead:
Shams is a Klutch water carrier (literally signed to them). Ben Simmons is a Klutch poster child. He has no choice but to deny it. I don’t know if he left the chat, but I can easily see him not responding.

I'm so anti-super player empowerment because it hinders any GM's ability to build a stable foundation. Why draft a potential superstar? You know there's now a 90% chance he's gone with the first reup. Why bring in a superstar FA, when he's gone in 3? Then, these draftees aren't ready to step into that role immediately, so you give them the 3-4 years to develop and now they're gone 2 years later. So if you're my "franchise future" I also can't bring in anyone on a higher level than you, because then you'll leave. But if I'm making moves to build a team around you, and the team still isn't making that next level leap, you're going to say we not trying to win. It's damn near impossible to build anything.

So how does one compete? As a GM, you now have to Lebron it, and throw everything at the wall for a 3-4 year window. In doing so, you lose your young superstar, and draft picks are worthless because you're trying to win now.
Sounds like every other sport.
