KD wanted to play with Kyrie. It was a mutual desire for both to play together in BK.Kyrie recruited kd to Brooklyn, so by refusing to extend kyrie they basically pulling a power move. Kd didn't sign up to play with Ben Simmons.
People always run to the “let him sit at home” rhetoric without ever considering the fact that it doesn’t help the organization to have their most valuable asset at home playing COD …it’s like that part which is the most important never connects in nikkas brains no matter how many times we see this play out lolI'd move on from Nash, but I'd call his bluff with Marks and any other terms he believes he can dictate. If he acts stupid, send him home for conduct detrimental to the team. If he refuses to play, let him sit out & rot without pay. You signed a four year deal, buddy. The organization bent over backwards to appease you & your boy. Play ball or don't but you're not calling any more shots.
Shams is a Klutch water carrier (literally signed to them). Ben Simmons is a Klutch poster child. He has no choice but to deny it. I don’t know if he left the chat, but I can easily see him not responding.Btw, Shams was on The Pat McAffee Showand said flat out that this never happened
Sounds like every other sport.I'm so anti-super player empowerment because it hinders any GM's ability to build a stable foundation. Why draft a potential superstar? You know there's now a 90% chance he's gone with the first reup. Why bring in a superstar FA, when he's gone in 3? Then, these draftees aren't ready to step into that role immediately, so you give them the 3-4 years to develop and now they're gone 2 years later. So if you're my "franchise future" I also can't bring in anyone on a higher level than you, because then you'll leave. But if I'm making moves to build a team around you, and the team still isn't making that next level leap, you're going to say we not trying to win. It's damn near impossible to build anything.
So how does one compete? As a GM, you now have to Lebron it, and throw everything at the wall for a 3-4 year window. In doing so, you lose your young superstar, and draft picks are worthless because you're trying to win now.
nikka, Kyrie Irving left LeBron James. No one can make him do anything.KD wanted to play with Kyrie. It was a mutual desire for both to play together in BK.
If KD's BFF wasnt a selfish a$$hole, none of this would happen. And if KD was a leader that his teammates respected, Kyrie would sacrifice and get the Covid shot.
