Woj has been nothing but a Nets mouthpiece since KD requested a trade. He's been downplaying the Suns even though the Suns are KDs preferred destination.

The Ayton offersheet made things more difficult but Bridges, Cam Johnson, and all available picks is absolutely competitive compared to other offers. No team is giving up the farm for KD, especially if he doesn't want to play there.

The Nets need to realize they're trading a player who will be 34 years old next season with injury issues the last few years.

Apparently Phoenix hasn’t even made Bridges available in KD trade talks according to Windhorst

Exactly. The best route for the Nets is for everyone to come together, mend fences and try to win in 2023.
This team can win
KD is just embarrassed because he got swept and then his old team won the title against the team who swept him

He is not moving into a winning situation going to Phoenix or Miami either

tbh i think the owners mighta used that Gobert trade to purposely fukk KD over, made sure his market value was so absurd that the Nets could hold onto him.

We'll only be able to tell if another big name player tries this and a similar situation occurs :yeshrug: but it seems like something owners would do to take power back

Kobe was too competitive to miss a season. Guys like KD will pull Harden in a minute and jsut concede the season if they have to and who wants to pay that much money for a player to be dogging it?

Kobe’s passion and respect for the game was jsut another level. It’s what separated him from TMac. And it pains me to say that
This is bullshyt there has been zero indication that kd is willing to sit for a season, where are you getting this info?

He’ll be ight, he isn’t getting younger. If anything his body will continue to heal.

The Brooklyn Nets have officially reached “train wreck” phase. You can’t just fix the chemistry and synergy required to compete at a high level because the right deal hasn’t presented itself yet.

The moment KD leaked his request it furthered the damage

Kevin Durant has officially reached "train wreck" phase.

He walked away from Golden State to play with his flower pot head buddy who has sabotaged everything the team has done with his disappearing acts, anti-vax bullshyt and alienated the player they traded their young core for.

Get's swept in the first round, then watches the team that swept him lose in the finals to the team he walked away from.

Now he asks out with 4 years left on his contact and expects Net to accept any old bullshyt offer so he can superteam up in Phoenix to give him a chance of beating Steph and them.

It's just been a series of terrible decisions from KD since 2019.

Who said sit? I’m talking about not caring and coming into the season lackadaisical. Nobody’s sitting out the season. That’s too much loss money.

Nah he's made a series of terrible decisions since he left okc, wasted the prime of his career on a team he was never going to get credit/respect for winning at; which is why he left and tried to rectify the situation for his career. He should have built his own superteam like bron always does from the beginning in 16. Now that gsw has won before and after him it looks even worse, ah well he still top 10 or borderline all time :manny:

It's difficult to build superteams that easily without giving teams advance notice of your arrival giving them time to clear out cap space and what not. That's the point that people keep overlooking with Bron and every destination that he went to. The majority of these players aren't playing the long game like that and I don't necessarily blame them for it.

Even the superteam that GS created with KD benefitted from Steph's bad ankles and the fact that players didn't listen to owners and cause the cap spike that caused his move to happen in the first place.

There's no way this Nets team is staying together long term. It's over. Any talk of them staying together is just leverage to get teams to up their offers.

Jerry fukkin West publicly stated he thinks KD is going nowhere, I'll trust his opinion on NBA front office decision-making over anyone on here, no offense. :pachaha: People thought it was a DONE DEAL Kobe was going to Chicago, that Duncan was GUARANTEED to team up with T-Mac in Orlando back in the day.... we all know how those situations played out in the end. I bet there's a dozen examples over the years of star players quietly asking out that we never have or will ever even hear about because their FO kept it under wraps long enough for them to mend the broken bridges privately.

KD didn't even have the leverage to get a player option, let alone a NTC on his current contract; he can pout and tweet on his burners as much as he wants about how "hE hOlDs AlL tHe LeVeRaGe" but the reality is if the best deals Brooklyn is being offered for him are centered around scrubs like Gary Trent Jr. or Cam Johnson... man is not gonna be going where he wants (or anywhere AT ALL) anytime soon. :manny:
