Look guys no doubt KD is a great player, a scoring champ and an MVP, but he buckles under pressure and flees a the first sign of challenge, give credit to guys like curry, kawhi and especially lebron to have won it without having the decks overwhelmingly stacked in their favour. K.D needs a reality check, he never was th best player in the nba, never was better than bron, brons haters built you up to serve their agenda and now they are tossing you aside.

KD would be doing the same thing he did when he lost to GS and then signed with them.....KD would be going to the team that just swept his ass out of the playoffs...Not a good look.
Nah gsw all ready won before him

I understand KD frustration bc of the injuries in 21 and then this bullshyt Kyrie caused in 22 resulting in Bench Simmons and him getting swept. The walls closing in after the Dubs won, but it’s his own fault for signing the long contract and hitching his horse to KyMe after he became the “voice of the voiceless” and ran Harden off. It’s clear KD can’t make sound decisions around Kyrie and Kyrie will NOT play a full season no matter what the circumstances are, so I’m thinking eventually the Nets price will go down the longer the organization takes to trade him bc KD will dog it and/or fake injuries and the Nets will get desperate and continue to foot his max contract (:umad: ) while his value plummets. Meanwhile Kyrie will continue his campaign of not playing (Roe v Wade overturned causing him to protest is my bet). Regardless of what coli brehs say, holding him hostage and offering him to the highest bidder will result in no future NBA Star FA signings and less leverage bc of the risk of him refusing to play. That’ll scare off anyone team with assets outside of his preferred destinations. Once the Nets go down on their price I think the best scenarios would be:

Raptors with OG, GTJr, Siakam or Barnes and picks but the longer they wait the less leverage when him and Kyrie torpedo the season before it begins by being cancers. It could easily turn into OG, GTJr and picks like how the Harden trade went from Simmons, Thybulle, Maxey and Curry to Simmons, Drum and Curry and a pick

Phoenix with Ayton, Bridges, Johnson and picks. They don’t want Ayton which is an upgrade at the five. It could easily turn into Bridges, Johnson, filler and picks the longer they wait.

I don’t believe the Celtics, Sixers or Heat would trade what Brooklyn is asking for. They just inquired just to see what’s up. Lakers is definitely a :duck:. Nobody wants Russ, Talentless, and a pick in 2027. KD would retire immediately.

Tldr: KD mad things ain’t turnout bc injuries and Kyrie then GS won. Understandable but lowkey a hoe move. Teams in contention are Suns and Raptors. Nets don’t have leverage like coli brehs hope.

Bruh theres no way in hell we are giving you Barnes, and if we do, we sure as hell ain't throwing in Siakam or OG with it

Ya boys 34, coming off injuries, with a stated preference for only two teams, and a history of being a hoe.

No team is gonna gut their roster for him, and no contending team is gonna kill whatever chances they have

Whatever you guys get, ain't gonna be what you expect

If Masai does this, he ain't giving up Barnes, I don't think he gives up Siakam either.

And if Barnes takes a leap next year, KD, Siakam and Barnes is gonna be a dirty big 3

Brooklyn shouldnt get too cute with the trade demands. KD is 34 not 24 and he's had injury issues. The last time KD played at least 60 games in a season was 2018-2019. The Suns giving up all of their picks and swaps along with Ayton and Cam is more than fair.

And Barnes?

That's a top 3 team in the East and at that point it's a toss up

I strongly disagree. Barnes KD and siakum occupy alot of the same space and none are playmakers. I don't think they could beat Philly, Boston, or Milwaukee, and probably not Miami either especially if they end up with Mitchell
