I'm perplexed as to how saying someone lied is purposely poking the bear for "headaches and negative stories"? If anything, SAS took it upon himself to give KD "headaches" by having to answer to his fan base about having one foot outta the door to LA when that's the furthest thing from the truth. I'd call him out on that too.

You're right. It doesn't give SAS the right to make shyt up, IF he was making this shyt up. But Durant done had an axe to grind with the media since February. And it's for no fukkin' reason. Who did they blame for the Finals? It sure as shyt wasn't him. Who did they say take more shots than him and it fukks up the flow of the offense? I get it that he doesn't like them coming at his teammates, but don't act like they've ever had a bad thing to say about him.

Cause he is. Just cause SAS said, "I heard from people I trust" doesn't mean anything. And apparently if those people aren't the same people that KD trust like the ones he mentioned, then more than likely, SAS just making up shyt or running with bad info like the rest of those ESPN hacks. It's clear by KD response, the only ones that know his true thoughts on this upcoming FA is his moms and his brothers.

Yeah, well sports reporters are going to report. They are going to talk about you. Stephen A didn't say anything a lot of people already thought about. Unless Durant outright says he's going nowhere, there is going to be speculation until next July.

His best move would be to just take the high road like most other athletes and say he is focused on winning the championship this year and going from there.

Regardless, Durant has been randomly lashing out at the media over the last couple years. It won't do him any good if they turn on him. The media influences society's opinions, for better or for worse...

I dig all of that....but what is wrong with saying someone is flat out lying? Or does he need to let SAS loud mouth mess up his money and brand with a smile on his face? KD and OKC needs KD to be all in for OKC and their city this year. Letting conversation about him having one foot out the door to LA linger isn't good. OKC couldn't even finish their first practice without KD being asked to validate SAS "report". That's bad business.
