Any brehs on a Ketogenic diet? I went Keto about 1 month ago and so far so good. I workout 4-5 days a week and have note noticed any drop off in my energy levels. I have found that my sweet spot is around 65% fat 30% protein and 5% carbs.
My homie was talking to me about keto the other day. What kinda food do you eat? And do you only really take a shyt like every 4 days?

Literallly any food that is high fat and high protein with minimum carbs. Any Meats, some nuts, eggs, avocado, keto protein shakes, green leafed vegetables. Sounds like ya homie needs to eat more fiber because I don't have the issue......:dame:

It's fun challenge if you do it right. You really are forced to take inventory of how many carbs there are in EVERYTHING

It's easy for me to go without carbs because I have been on and off of Atkins for years. The hardest part for me so far is eating enough fat to make sure I reach 65%.

I did keto diet last summer and lost about 15-20 pounds within 6 weeks. It's cool but don't make it your permanent diet. Do it in cycles. I went to Dr and said I had high cholesterol. Must've been all the eggs and bacon I had for breakfast on daily basis.

I don't believe that High Cholesterol alone makes someone who is on a low carb diet more susceptible to heart disease. I do know for a fact that sugar which is a huge part of the average American's diet is probably the #1 cause of heart disease in this country. Until I see long term study on high cholesterol's affect on people on low carb diets they need more people.

Eating too much added sugar increases the risk of dying with heart disease - Harvard Health Blog

Over the course of the 15-year study on added sugar and heart disease, participants who took in 25% or more of their daily calories as sugar were more than twice as likely to die from heart disease as those whose diets included less than 10% added sugar. Overall, the odds of dying from heart disease rose in tandem with the percentage of sugar in the diet—and that was true regardless of a person’s age, sex, physical activity level, and body-mass index (a measure of weight).

I've been consistently keto for about 85% of the time since February when I started working out. Jersey pic is from Dec 26 at Dal/Det game. I had got on the scale in November and weighed 326. I know it went up between then and Feb when I started working out. I weighed in today at 260. Even at that weight I'm buying large shirts now. I can't remember the last time I bought a shirt that didn't start with an X. I've been lucky because I don't have any loose skin hanging like I see on other people's pics.

been doing strict keto for almost two months and i love this shyt....it was strange starting out though cause my first two weeks I had all the benefits that people talked about...extra energy, increased clarity, rapid weight loss (water), all that...then the around the fourth week i started to feel tired as fukk all the time...would go to sleep mad early and be knocked out for 10 hours straight...i couldnt sit down anywhere for too long cause i would eventually nod out....even with the green multivitamin i was taking i still felt tired. someone suggested that i start taking men's one a day vitamins and all the positive benefits started to come back. i don't know if my body was just adjusting or if it was the multivitamin or me eating more but men's one a day has more magnesium than the other vitamin i was taking. sometimes people on keto can be magnesium deficient so i think it was a combination of both.

im definitely slimmer though and my focus and energy is through the roof...would recommend keto to anybody

i make wings and chicken fingers like that all the time....just cover them in almond flour and grounded flaxseed and fry them in coconut oil

or if you dont feel like cooking you can go to Buffalo Wild Wings...their traditional wings are keto friendly
