If its out here stealing goats then chances are its already a pretty slow cat. It's learned to hunt with its mind rather than its body, so when it actually is in a situation where it has to run, its legs are larry holmes status.

I heard they do this buy outlasting the animal. They carry water and pretty much relentlessly chase it down while keeping a steady pace and keep hydrated until the animal just can't run anymore.
