Hmmmm... in my opinion, i think they should have cut off his legs and burned the edges to keep from bleeding, so he's forced to walk with his arms for the rest of his life.
I stil think he should have been tortured for years... slow, excruciating pain.

Outside of a dictatorship, governments represent the collective will of the people. Last time I checked Singapore is a democracy and they want drug dealers put to death. You're engaging in moral relativism as if you are almighty and can determine what crimes deserve death or not.
