Been slowly catching up on this. and I have to say.. This show is hilarious and I was actually surprised by the deep subtle humor that is used and directed at societal, class and race issues..

Show is average as hell, not even really worth watching. The LSD scene was terrible. Still no quotable or memorable scenes. Would have bushed this already if it wasn't for my faith in McBride.

McBride's shows all definitely have a certain shared look and feel to em.
Dunno why but when I look at Napoleon Dynamite, I get similar vibes. Not necessarily in terms of humor but dere's somethin dere I can't quite put mah fanga on.

Belinda and her two sons are lowkey the best written black characters on television right now. 
I refuse to believe a bunch of white dudes created those three characters and their dialogue.
If you can't see the subtle greatness on this show you off as hell. Most of the people that seem to not like it are SJW types that can't get over the fact it's two "straight white men" vs. a "strong black women"; and dumbass cacs that can't get over the fact that the show is bigger than cac humor and has the nerve to have moments of blackness in it they can't relate to.
