It's like a Bravo/IFC (Independant Film Channel) short film played between movies. Canada has always had these weird short films on our Canadian channels, especially in the 80s and 90s.

Is AEW that good that you just accept whatever/whoever they put out there or has wrestling fallen off that bad? Maybe I should watch Smackdown/RAW/AEW and do a review from a casual's point of view and see how they stack up

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by this.
Omega doing some homoerotic fetish video over a decade ago or his previously participating in the subgenre of homoerotic comedy wrestling that permeates Japanese wrestling to this day really has no bearing on what is happening with AEW in the here and now.

It's probably a little unfair to judge something when you've only seen its worse parts, like I was huge TNA fan when I still watched wrestling and you could probably make similar compilations.

But nothing about that product from the outside looking in seems enjoyable and if they want long term success they need casuals like me to find it enjoyable

I dont care if an actor/stuntman is gay why should i care if a wrassler is? It came out that Oscar Delahoya was doing battyman tings does that mean his fights are any less exciting or he ranks any less as a legendary welterweight?

As for attracting casuals, outside of Wrestlemania nothing gets casuals to watch wrestling. Those days are dead and gone.
And even after casuals watch Wrestlemania they don't stick around for weekly episodes of Raw and Smackdown.
Wrestling is a niche form of entertainment and all of these companies are mining the same finite audience.

You'd know more than me but I don't think the days of getting people to tune in outside of your demographic have to be gone, I mean yeah if we're talking about a 90s boom. But you don't even need that imo.

One of the biggest issues with all of today's wrestling is nobody is larger than life, everyone just exists as another guy or girl. If I want to watch real life, I can do that without WWE/AEW spoon feeding it to me. Another issue that ties into that point is kayfabe being dead. Cornette just talked about Bliss crying over her pig irl, but isn't she supposed to be a demon girl on TV? shyt like that breaks up immersion.

Maybe you're right and thing are what they are, but the strange thing is nobody seems to be trying to make wrestling cool again. But this has nothing to do with this Omega shyt so whatever.
