Thinking back on it Cosmo had the worst block by far in the KAT. Dude had Dudley who was low tier but then his next fight was either the serial killer cop or the superhuman giant who would have been immune to all his moves, dude gets put up against Akoya and barely escapes with his life and is dead on his feet in his next fight.

Just started watching this a few nights ago... I figured it was a less zesty Baki (bunch of nikkas in speedos) but then I see the characters are actually not from Harlem

Dope fight scenes but 3 out of every 10 dudes on this show is

That was pretty much it lol. They were too zesty though. And the muay thai dudes handler and his rival had some sus vibes. Show was fire though

The manga is a guilty pleasure that's practically 10 seasons ahead of where the netflix show is

The whole premise completely morphs into something else; basically becoming a "somewhat" more grounded Street Fighter, in the sense that it went from a simple tourney concept... to branching plot points about terrorists organizations and the various Bison, Akuma, Ryu types dealing with them (some of which you've already seen in the show).

Through it all, they do keep fighting and tourneys as their bread and butter. Pretty damn entertaining.
