- "I know it's hard to imagine it. Who thought KG would ever would leave the Timberwolves, who thought Shaq would leave the Lakers, Dwyane left Miami"
- "The type of slump that Klay Thompson is in, it is more than just shooting the basketball, he is mentally not there, and you can't blame him"
- "When it was time to get Jordan Poole an extension, he got it... When it was time to get an extension, he got it with the Warriors.... When it was time for the Warriors to resign Draymond, we barely got to 3 days past the free agency market and Draymond was penciled in"
- "How do you feel Klay Thompson is feeling right now??"

Astute analysis from Perk :ehh:

Klay having a bad start to a season is nothing new. He's five good shooting games away from flipping this narrative. And he deserves to retire as a one club player.

Somebody just has to have an honest conversation with him when he's playing like this. Bob Myers ran from the grind so let's see what happens with Dunleavy.

I disagree. Klay still has flashes and big games every now and then. It seems people have forgotten that he's come off two serious injuries a few years back so he's not the same player he was between 2015-2019.

Plus I don't think Steph, Dray, or Kerr would cosign that...Klay is gonna be a Warrior till his career is over. It's the same thing when people seriously thought GS wouldn't resign Dray or thought they'd trade him at the very least, when I knew they wouldn't.

Dubs organization will support Klay no matter how much he's declined (which is not his fault) due to injuries because he like Steph and Draymond are cornerstones of the franchise and cemented themselves to have the final say regarding their futures.

Only Steph matters. If he signed off Klay and Dray would be gone.

That's how the fans think of it but the organization and Curry himself think otherwise.

If it's about maximizing Curry's championship window and giving him the best opportunity to win then I'm pretty sure Steph would believe Klay and Dray are what gives him his best chances.

Those three guys aren't splitting up unless Klay and Draymond decided to move on because I doubt Curry would be ok with the franchise shopping them without his consent which I don't believe he'd ever do.

I wouldn't just because

A) the return you'd get might not be that great (although there's still a chance for a good return, tbh)

B) he's apart of the championship core. Rewarding loyalty can sometimes pay off

They just need to talk to him and get him to be humble
