Not being taken seriously on thecoli is a win

Sure buddy. I don’t even have to look at how many post you have in this thread let alone on the Kendrick vs Drake topic in general. And don’t think I haven’t forgotten about you pretending to be your “wife” when you first started shyt posting all those year ago :russ:

Of course 75% of white people wont like it because they only know not like us song because they kid playing it or its all over social media

Majority of nikkas going to hate because nikkas today only understand mumble/lean using/on fentanyl/stuttering lil baby, future and wayne rappers and want Kendrick to do a whoop that trick type of song

Did you watch the performance. He sounded like a mumble rapper out there. Kendrick just don’t have it like that to headline the Super Bowl. A majority of his fan base just know him mainly for not like us.

I never pretended to be anything.

The mere fact that I wasn’t a part of thecoli echo chamber made people on here think I was pretended to be something

I don't know why, but Wu-Tang would absolutely rock a Superbowl halftime show because they have mainstream appeal, not to mention they are a global brand/icon that even the casual cac listener would get hyped listening to them perform their countless hits and classics.

They have the perfect energy for that type of national stage. They've performed in many venues not only in the US but internationally as well, they'd know how to handle this type of event with ease.

I'm not sure why a lot of people on here don't think Wu could do it. If you bring out legacy Hip-Hop acts, the Clan would be among the top choices because who doesn't love the Wu? Literally, everybody does.

Kanye west would have shyt on everyone in this list if he didnt go crazy...

And kanye's music is better for stadiums.

Imagine his catalogue...from through the wire, and all falls down. To diamonds are forever, stronger, gold digger, mbdtf, power, it'd be amazing...too bad man.
If Kanye wouldn't have gone off the deep end and stuck with the music, he would be considered the GOAT to this generation without a doubt. Problem is, he's his own enemy.

Many of these modern rappers (including Kendrick and Drake) are FORCED on us by corporate suits. They don't have many genuine fans. People TALK more about them than actually listening to their music. Kinda like how everyone knows Taylor Swift but doesn't know any of her songs.

Breh, that’s what kills me this most:

“Ooooh, Kendrick is too deep. The subliminals and symbolism went over y’all heads! :ooh: ” man, if y’all don’t GTFO! :mjlol:

I judge every performance on its individual merit. This was above average at best. Nothing went over my head, it was just dull. It’s meant to be a half time entertainment show, and it was mild at best.

And as someone in here already said, if Kanye hadn’t gone crazy, he would’ve killed it easily. He knows how to put on a live performance.

I’ve never got the Kendrick hype but I did throughly enjoy his first album… in fact, it was the best release of 2012. But since then, it’s just been self indulgent tripe from him. But Kendrick fans will tell you “it’s too deep and abstract for yall to comprehend.” :comeon:

100% facts right here

Kendrick and Drake are literally forced about the public like they are "the guys" when they are mid as hell. It's a sad low point that Kendrick's basic lyrics are seen as "thought provoking" and "DEEP". His music is basically edgy Black music for Non-Black people

Only reverence was the Drake diss and depending on what happens with Drake in later years could age it even worse

Chit was not turnt. At no moment did I get bucc.

But alas - I cannot put this all on Kendrick.
As many brethren have stated - postmodern rappas make headphone music, not stadium bangers.

Who in da hell put Jiggermayne in charge of booking Super Bowl acts? He’s a Lounge Singer.
Need somebody who knows how to rock tha spot.
