This album is gonna be wack and I'm going to be here for it when I read your disappointment.

Some people are so easily pleased. All a rapper has to do is use some euphemism for being black and people get 'hyped'. So sad.

Funny thing about Kendrick is, he can't find the time to be 'pro-black' and 'unapologetic' in his music but when he's asked questions in real life, he's either MUTE, EVASIVE or CIRCUMSPECT.

The dude is nothing more than a stunt artist using shock value to sell records and you fools eat it up. Tragic.

Why should we care about anything other than the music though? I hate rappers who talk wreckless in interviews but music has the same generic themes

Would you rather him make songs about how fine his hoes are or how much money his making? Whether you like it or not he is making the type of music rap has been missing for a while now...

You call it shock value but what does he rap about that's so shocking to you? :ld:

Breh...Stop.

As if the template for being a typical artist w/ a "slightly modified flow" spitting about the same shyt over & over again isn't lame by now. How many keys? How many hammers? How many bytches?

I'm hungry for hearing something that represents my inner pride of being black. I'm ready to be easily pleased so I can blast something out of my whip this Summer yelling "The blacker the berry."

shyt in the rap game has gotten so cloned that a suburban kid from Oklahoma could give instructions on cooking crack & how it looks when a ratchet peels a cap back. Until someone creates a new wave of "art from experience" where I here an artist, who actually lived that life, talk about what it felt like to sell his first crack vile to a feen who is handing him a crinkled $20 bill with feces on it & in his bars he's articulating the way his stomach turned when assessing whether to make that sale...I'm done with the boring unoriginal shyt.

Until an artist, who's actually lived that life, gives me a 16 talking about carrying a hammer for the first time & knowing he's never pulled out before being on pins & needles when he gets bumped because he doesn't know if he's ready for that situation to escalate past fists for the firs time, the thoughts of him possibly remembering playing ball w/ the hostile individual when they were kids & joping he can avoid the situation because he's nervous & there is to much of a crowd around.... Then. I. Don't. Want. To. Hear. The. Same. shyt. Anymore.

You know why we don't hear about the real gritty? Because most of these artists haven't lived it & it's easy to act like you lived in when you've been hearing the same content for decades & it's easy to copy.

^THIS. People need to use THEIR LANE in order to get a point across. An Af(rican) could stutter, be shy & have seizures during interviews for all I care...but if he is ont he top of his game while in that booth or on that stage...and people listen...

Well that's where he needs to get his point across.
