I agree with this, didn't really like it at the start but I can go back and listen to it all day.This album aged beautifully

Not one song from this album is played at bbqs or bars.
I guarantee you that 5 years from now songs from GKMC and DAMN will be played at BBQs and bars.

So? Doesn't detract from the quality of the album at all. Idek if it's technically a concept album, but it's well executed.
When you're in the mood, some of these songs hit like no others.

I thought this album was more inline with gkmc seeing as how it had a plot line. I feel like damn for the most part was satire showing how easy it really is to make music people will Stan once they already stan you, yet ironically enough won’t pay attention to the important shyt (which is why nobody at large (mainstream audience) discussed and lauded the latter half of xxx and fear, same way they ignored the latter half of swimming pools and sing about me)
I honestly don’t think this album was meant to be listened to with expectations, it seems like a personal project of passion if anything hence why he switched off the style of it
I've been playing it the last couple of days. Masterpiece album.

Re-listened to this album the other day and I thought the 79 minute runtime would be daunting but it felt like a breeze
With all these minute and a half songs and shyt recently, I think this is one of the best compliments an artist can receive. Songwriting at some its finest
