What evidence do you have that he didn't. :francis:

I've also been a fan from the beginning; I know his writing style.

I'm not saying he didn't write it

But it would be silly to assume that he did

He used help when stakes were low, so why would he not use the tent when the stakes were high?

Only thing that would make this track hotter than it is, is if Kenny said "Ask Drake he don't want it witih K, NO"
Except that nikkas won't actually say Drakes name on a song.

It's the Eminem fear all over again

This type of logic makes zero sense. He'd be less inclined to seek help at a moment in time when his bars are being scrutinized.

Also if Drake was nothing but an empty suit, there would have been far more people coming to Meek's defense.

That's not even close to the same thing though. With Drake, it's been a combination of him doing great networking and befriending nearly every big mainstream rapper and having a hand in their success. And it's about the fear of alienating a whole Drake fan base that'll go after you if you diss him. Kendrick & Meek were generally liked across the board, until they forced Drake fans to form an actual opinion about them, which led them to hate.

Rappers don't fear Drake the way they feared Eminem though.

Given what's transpired, how are you finding a way to give Drake the benefit of the doubt? If someone accused Drake of having another rapper write rhymes for him, without reference tracks, you'd probably deny that. Now that we have that proof, you're hiding behind more unknowns, which prove nothing.

That's why nearly any sort of defense of Drake on ghostwriting, like yours, is just rationalizating & explaining away what happened, because fans have a lot invested in artists they like and it's hard to be objective about it.

How can you even begin to know how much he wrote or didn't? THAT is the problem. You have to assume, because if not, then he's a total fraud, as if he's only a halfway fraud for trying to convince us he's the GOAT when he had some no name rapper feeding him flows and bars.

YAWN. Because they "proof" that was presented was bullshyt bars on bullshyt song. And even with that said, the "ghostwriter" was in the credits.

Sorry that ain't enough proof to dismiss and discredit the man's catalogue.
