That's not even close to the same thing though. With Drake, it's been a combination of him doing great networking and befriending nearly every big mainstream rapper and having a hand in their success. And it's about the fear of alienating a whole Drake fan base that'll go after you if you diss him. Kendrick & Meek were generally liked across the board, until they forced Drake fans to form an actual opinion about them, which led them to hate.
Rappers don't fear Drake the way they feared Eminem though.
Given what's transpired, how are you finding a way to give Drake the benefit of the doubt? If someone accused Drake of having another rapper write rhymes for him, without reference tracks, you'd probably deny that. Now that we have that proof, you're hiding behind more unknowns, which prove nothing.
That's why nearly any sort of defense of Drake on ghostwriting, like yours, is just rationalizating & explaining away what happened, because fans have a lot invested in artists they like and it's hard to be objective about it.
How can you even begin to know how much he wrote or didn't? THAT is the problem. You have to assume, because if not, then he's a total fraud, as if he's only a halfway fraud for trying to convince us he's the GOAT when he had some no name rapper feeding him flows and bars.
