Yeaf song def quite dope.

But i feel his venture onto trump and stuff between 2:29-3:00 is rather uneeded. Feels like he startes(and does) rambles off.

I agree 100 but I just find it funny that noone goes at Drake aggressive:francis: I'm not a Drake hater I listen to his tunes:ehh: but it erks me that Drake is teflon status:scust:

"What are we doing? I'm about to crack the DaVinci code
And Nothing Been The Same, since I dropped control
And tuck a sensitive rapper back in his pajamas clothes
HA HA jokes on you high five.....I'm bulletproof
Your rhymes will never penetrate
Pin the tail on the donkey boy you been a fake
I got my thumb on hip hop and my foot in your ass
Aftermath gets the last laugh"

:mjlol:Aubrey fell back.

Track is dope. "i" was the first song he released to promote TPAB. Not a bad track (i like it:manny:), but after he done dropped gkmc, and obliderated sean on his own track (control). I wasn't expecting him to drop THAT as his first single. The Heart 4 won't be on the album most likely, but it's a step in the right direction. As for the shots, here's my immediate thoughts (i could ultimately be reaching on some of them).

My fans can't wait for me to son your punk ass and crush your whole little shyt
I'll Big Pun your punk ass you a scared little bytch

Sean's ad-lib is lil bytch :ohhh:, and kendrick maybe using wordplay (big/little) because big sean is a little nikka, with little shine in hiphop. I believe kendrick has also giving sean the nickname "punk ass". He says it later on before the song ends as well. I could be reaching though. Could also be kendrick telling sean that he is the bigger rapper, amongst the elites, the big homie etc, and sean is just a low tier rapper. With that said, he's not going to just brush it off cause you a little nikka, he'll show you why he's at where he's at (kendrick), and sean is at where he's at in people's opinion in rap.

Tip-Toeing around my name nikka you lame <--obviously sean didn't say kendricks name in no more interviews
And when i get at you homie don't just tell me you was just playin'
(Oh I was just playin' K-Dot, c'mon, you know a nikka rock with you bro)

:comeon:nikka, This is EXACTLY how sean talks in his interviews. You can't tell me this ain't some shyt he would say. As a matter of fact. Don't somebody in the background says "sean" in the background as kendrick says "don't you tell me you was just playing" somewhere around 1:31-1:33.:troll:

Ho, Jay-Z Hall of Fame sit your punk ass down <--like someone said earlier, two birds, one stone. Aimed towards sean and drake. More towards sean since sean is "punk ass", and his 2nd album is hall of fame. if it was soley for drake, he could have worded it differently. He could have said jay is a legend, or top 5. He chose "hall of fame", he knew what he was doing. Then again, drake was talking big shyt on that grammys track from views. "Hall of fame, hall of fame" :jbhmm:

So that means you ain't bigger than rapping <--shot at Drake
So that means no more playing the back scene <--shot at Sean

Once again, two birds, one stone. Aimed towards sean and drake again. Maybe more towards drake this time. Kendrick is alternating shots at the two of them.

I take it as kendrick telling sean his definition of hall of fame. Using jay as an example (maybe because his name is shawn, i know, reach). Jay is bigger than rapping at this point. THAT'S hall of fame. Jay is on everybody's list, and arguably the star in this thing called hip hop. THAT's hall of fame. Sean isn't bigger than rapping (duh), he's the background character no one pay's attention to, because everyone is focused on the star (Kendrick, imo it's drake and/or kendrick) who's following in jay's footsteps as someone who is the frontrunner of rap, but bigger than "rapping".

Now, this shot makes more since when aimed at drake. Drake said he's 1.turned into jay, and 2. he's only 29, and to have some patience with him. Implying he's achieved/achieving more than jay, and at a younger age so far. Once again, jay is bigger than rapping at this point. Kendrick is simply saying drake is not jay, so he's not bigger than rappin. As for the laying the back scene lyric, idk. Maybe drake is playing politics behind the scenes or something to do with the fact that drake is also an actor:yeshrug:. Like i said kendrick is alternating between sean, and drake. I think that bar is for sean.

My spot is solidified if you ask me
My name is identified as that king

Kendrick is replying to sean's shots on no more interviews. Saying he IS top 5 (and possibly, IS the savior of rap). He has nikkas calling him king kendrick.

Remember, sean said on no more interviews:

Not from the city if you let THEY tell it
Greatest rapper of all time if you let YE tell it
You ask me, I don’t got the resume yet

if you ask Sean if he's the greatest. He'll tell you he ain't got the resume yet

if you ask Kendrick if he's the greatest. He'll tell you his spot is solidified. He has no doubt in his resume. Kendrick may have said "you ask me" to mock sean, since he said it first on no more interviews.

EDIT :damn: i wrote a book
