3 > 2 > 1 > 4

The ending of 3 is kinda corny but that beat just give it a vibe that the others aint got, his passion on 2 was crazy tho and I used to prefer it over 3

“How splendid, I guess my project had did it
Got all these nikkas approaching they mixtapes different
They said seven tracks, I said fifteen
Called it an EP, they said I’m trippin'
But little did they know, I’m tryna' change the rules
That we’ve been confined to, so the corporate won’t make decisions
Uppity bytches, handling business
Killing our dreams, stealing our vision
Out in Haiti, adolescents barely have a home
In L.A everybody think they fukking on
Hop on Twitter, perpetrate we doing big shyt
Who we hanging with and bragging about the iPhone
I swear to God most of y'all cats just don’t know Kendrick”

2 or 3. The thing I love about 2 was that it was one of the first Kendrick tracks I heard and impressed me. OD was solid. But man 3 felt like a perfect capture of the moment. Right before the album, shyt felt so well done and I loved how the featured weaved in and out.

4 was aite. Was hoping Big Sean would say something.

Think it came out a few days after it leaked, I had been bumping the fukk out of it, so the song was like a victory lap to me.

Cool, 'cause nikkas won't outdo us in the booth
Even when my album leak, fans still buy it for proof

I came, I saw, I conquered
No shame, I blame all of this on Compton

Thinkin' 'bout when Sherane tried to set me up
Cold game, full circle, they set up her
I put my life in these twelve songs, my fight in these twelve songs
The fight to ignite any wrong or right that I prolong
The story was short film,
the glory of him and them
The worry of mothers that don't recover when baby's killed
The trial and the tribulations, the newer Miseducation
The view of a body wasting, you knew somebody who ain't make it
The angry, the adolescent, the reason I ask this question
Will you let hip-hop die on October 22nd?
Will you let hip-hop die on October 22nd?
