"Why did I weep when Trayon Martin was in the street when gang bangin made me kill a nikka blacker than me, hypocrite!"

Gtfoh with that shyt:camby:
Misread a. Line brehs.

"Why did I weep when Trayvon was in the street" WHY DO I CRY WHEN I DO THE SAME THINGS, AND KILL OTHERS LIKE ME TOO

"When gang bangin made me kill a nikka blacker than me" WE FEEL SORRY AND WEEP FOR INNOCENT BLACK MEN, AND LESS SORRY FOR GANGBANGIN BLACK MEN WHO DIED, WHEN IN FACT BOTH RESULTS ARE PRODUCTS OF A WHITE SYSTEM

He never said Martin was bangin.

That line isn't directed to the average black man, it's directed to those who decide to shame violence when the cameras rolling but promote and indulge in it on a daily basis. There's nothing c00nish about that line.

:heh: you trolling right?

Please point me to any Drake song that talks about black people and social issues?

Drake makes nice break up music and smooth shyt for the ladies but he don't make songs like this bruh.
Listen to the resistance if u want real music from drizzy, Racc00n has gotten more boring over the years and if it wasn't for the drizzy feature GKMC wouldn't be a classic

Why, though? The whole context of the song is resisting anti-Blackness. People should be willing to address the complexities of anti-Blackness as it appears in our community, too. It's not like he made an entire song out of that one line, which would have been too much, but we can't pretend it's not part of the larger picture, either.

Too many people give rappers a pass for talking about shooting other Black folks and enslaving them with drugs, but then turning around and doing songs about Trayvon or Eric Garner as if they're social activists for us at the same time. That behavior is hypocritical at the end of the day, no matter how you look at it.

this guy gets it. The Coli calls so many people c00ns that they've forgotten what c00n behavior actually is.
