Well atleast you admitted his washed now. Tell em Kendrck did itHe don't need to come back, he's still gonna be where he is

Disagree.
Kendrick already proved he can play the commercial/billboard game with DAMN and BP soundtrack.
Yes but we're comparing Kendrick and Drake not Drake and CurrensyBecause of the output of their songs which yall continue to bring up
Definitely, that's why he and his fans should stop crying. His time at the top has ended, but it could be worseIf that's the case 99.99999% of artists would consider being washed to be a good thing

Both Kendrick and Drake are the commercial juggernauts they are because they have machines behind them willing to spend millions on promoting and distributing their music.
Please tell me know this![]()

Everyone benefited from the kendrick stimulus. Including “Like That”. Future, Metro, ATL, all the hip hop blogs who discussed the beef, Drake himself(in the beginning when Push Ups and Family Matters were doing crazy “prime Drake” numbers due to them being marketed as the “Kendrick diss”), Akademiks, the podcast. Everyone ate off of Kendrick kicking shyt off.I think most of us agree that Kendrick humiliating Drake on the biggest stage definitely brought more attention to him but the reason the battle even got that much attention in the first place was because of Kendrick.
Crash and burn for who?I have no dog in this race, but why do I feel like there is going to be a crash and burn soon?
I still cant understand why so many people have turned on Drake.
I'm not ignoring their output, I'm saying you have to take every factor into consideration as well as their output. Comparing Currensy to Drake to make your point is dishonest because you know Currensy is not a mainstream artist. (His stile of music doesn't attack the casual listener's ear, and he doesn't have the budget to promote his music to the level of a Drake or Kendrick)Listen person
You would compare the two because of their output of songs, it's a variable, you can't just ignore it because this artist is on this level and this artist is on that level.
If output was so important, everyone would be doing it and succeeding.
"But Drake different though" - what's going through your mind

So you compare artists that are on a level playing field (Drake and Kendrick) then you go from there.
Huh?So one variable is their position in the music industry you compare that
Another variable you compare to another artist you ignore that
Do you see how dumb that is?
Huh?
The only one ignoring variables is you. That's why you compared Drake and Currensy because you wanted to ignore the impact that budget for promo, marketing and distributing plays in an artist's commercial success and only wanted to focus only on output.
