You would compare the two because of their output of songs, it's a variable, you can't just ignore it because this artist is on this level and this artist is on that level.

Everyone benefited from the kendrick stimulus. Including “Like That”. Future, Metro, ATL, all the hip hop blogs who discussed the beef, Drake himself(in the beginning when Push Ups and Family Matters were doing crazy “prime Drake” numbers due to them being marketed as the “Kendrick diss”), Akademiks, the podcast. Everyone ate off of Kendrick kicking shyt off.

I'm not ignoring their output, I'm saying you have to take every factor into consideration as well as their output. Comparing Currensy to Drake to make your point is dishonest because you know Currensy is not a mainstream artist. (His stile of music doesn't attack the casual listener's ear, and he doesn't have the budget to promote his music to the level of a Drake or Kendrick)
So you compare artists that are on a level playing field (Drake and Kendrick) then you go from there.
