Would backfire immediately

Drake has history of being a kendrick fan boy

Dressing like him, attending his shows, being insecure and jealous towards his hip hop credibility and critical acclaim, even inviting him on that tour really comes off as trying to piggyback off an at the time underground rapper to show how "down" he was with the culture

Kendrick never did none of that shyt. He dissed dude on his own album :heh:

And lowkey dissed him again on gkmc. At least in retrospect

"But I could never write my wrongs unless I write it down forreal. P.S." :sas2:

what line is that???:ohhh::ohhh:

We've seen it happen multiple times since 2012...every time kendrick drops, the world stops and he takes all the shine. Doesn't matter if Eminem releases at the same time, Drake, Jay,...it's Kendrick featuring Kendrick.

The only rapper that seems to be able to coexist (not commercially though, but in terms of interest) is Nas.

Thats goat stuff

More than a line. Re-listen to the whole interlude. He outlines the price of fame and how he and drake were faced with two opposing paths. One of reckless hedonism and the other of pure artistry

I was always shocked drake put this on his album. It's not subtle at all but crodie has displayed his master comprehension skills during the beef so oof:heh:

This would be the perfect time for artists to improve the quality of their music and hopefully the consumers stop consuming microwave music.

No more of these short ass songs ffs :francis:
:yes: I'm quite tired of these little 2ish minute songs I'm always seeing. Get a 15 song album with a run time of 27 minutes :francis:

People still don't understand there are levels to this

You know how you know KDot is arguably the GOAT? Because like Nas, he when drops an album, it means something
It meant something seeing Nas album coming soon ads in The Source back then

It's the Love....the Love. Drake, like Jigga, can't understand why KDot gets the love when Drake has to do more
He never had a Sing About Me. Jay never had a Memory Lane but ego is a mofo
