He deserves it. I've seen all his diss tracks get ranked #1 or on a few lists, but Not Like Us is indeed the one getting the most acclaim.

This is the first diss track to go #1, and to get SOTY treatment . Kendrick might make history in the general categories at grammy.

Its crazy how this song completely and thoroughly ended the battle. When I first heard it I thought it was great but I also thought Drake and his writers had at least two more responses in them. But when Kendrick said he had ten more ready to go that shyt spooked OVO’s spirits.

That entire camp waved the white flag with the QUICKNESS. The Heart Part 6 is worse than Super Ugly. Its worse than Blueprint 2. Its worse than Wanna Know. Its the worst response diss track of ALL TIME and that might ultimately be Not Like Us defining legacy. It was so potent it made an entire camp of writers, producers, and marketers pack it in and the general of it all defend himself and cop pleas instead of fighting back.

I wanna hear the backstory, and see video footage of Drake’s team admitting OUT LOUD when they finally lost and telling each other they don't have a chance fighting back.

yeah i thought it was over once mtg dropped.

but man. when nlu dropped. within a couple hours ross posted a vid of his pool party and that shyt had people live. then that same night of it dropping a dj played family matters out in LA and got bood with the quickness

he played nlu right after and the place erupted
