Kendrick was ALWAYS going to release Meet The Grahams because Drake was ALWAYS going to release Family Matters. The warnings were just set ups to spur Drake to release it. Kendrick knows Drake’s character and he also obviously studied Drake’s past battles and hit on the fact that Drake’s trump card is ALWAYS using his opponents women against them. Drake just can’t help himself in that regard. He can’t battle without that angle so there was no way he was going to actually “heed advice” and keep Whitney out of it.
Basically both of these guys knew that it was never going to be a friendly exhibition, thats the one lie they both told each other and the public. It was always going to get to the mudslinging and thats why Cole bowed out.
