Please god, don't be the Keem collab album. I do NOT want to deal with Cole/Drake stans or @CrimsonTider if it's a bunch of troll raps.

I need a complete divorce/removal of the Keem influence and a return to rapping. Cole is outside. Drake is outside. I need the real Kendrick back.

A few months back Mackwop said the album is basically done. For some reason Kendrick convinced the people really want this...

Why are we acting like Keem isn’t just a glorified ventriloquist dummy for Kendrick to flex his more eccentric, fun loving persona? We’ve HEARD the reference tracks. This nikka wrote 80% of Keem’s last album. When you listen to Keem your just listening to method acting Kendrick I don’t see why everyone is acting like Keem has this big influence over Kendrick’s musical direction when its really vice versa.

That plus the songs Kendrick has him rap on are generally successful. They got nominated for a Grammy for a loosie throwaway track. Makes sense they’d put out an album.

But from a business perspective the Keem experiment is working. Remember Kendrick is a label head now not just an artist. Keem is the second premiere artist on pgLang after Kendrick himself so it makes sense to push Keem as much as possible especially since he’s successful.

He’s not successful, like we’ve said, it’s Kendrick beard. Kendrick is heavily featured in everything keem. Everyone except the biggest nerds would be fine with Kendrick jumping back and forth between having something to say and just having fun
