I still think this is a great diss record but I no longer think it’s Kendrick’s best diss. It’s still dope but the daughter thing does bring it down. It’s one thing if it was one line but it’s entire verse to a person that doesn’t exist. I got Euphoria over this as the best diss from Kendrick listening back

:leon: at the "Oldboy" reference.

The original is my favorite movie of all time.

Fred.

movie highkey changed my perspective on live and how i approach situations

not even exaggerating

when i first heard this diss i got that exact feeling from that movie

which is why i only listened like 2/3x and stayed away from the song for a bit:russ:

I said this May 7th:

It's crazy because one of my boys said the same thing.

Kendrick dropping all these songs on YouTube and turning off monetization is a level of hate I haven't seen since "Oldboy".

Only change I would make us the daughter verse. Kendrick could have still used the hiding kid angle but make it less specific. Keep it ambiguous. Still a great diss track nonetheless

They are still standing on the daughter being real so either:

1. It's true.

2. It's one of the greatest pump fakes in rap history.

I'm leaning more towards #1 just based on how confident they seem. And Drake's history.
