This one to me was the first nuke from Kendrick. shyt is so bone chilling, jaw dropping and the fact he dropped shortly after Family Matters was just insane. Literally picked him apart and tried piecing him back together with this one. I was having trouble falling asleep with this one in particular stuck in my head :damn:

I put this in the top 5 diss tracks of all time off 2 listens and thats probably conservative. And I’m purposely not even listening again yet

And new age fans get that twisted. Nggas be so stuck on ‘cAme And WeNt’ but some songs you ‘save’ for later. Everything don’t gotta be burnt into the ground.

Ironically while it is right up there with Ether, it’s another Nas track I keep comparing it to and it’s Rewind. The first time you heard Rewind, you IMMEDIATELY knew it was classic just off the concept and execution. That’s what meet the grahams is. That shyt is so timeless so I’m in no rush I’m taking my time I’ll be dissecting it for YEARS, not days

The beat, the lyrics, the title reminded me of Resident Evil 7 for some reason.
