This is literally what I been sayin about this nikka all these years. Son is a legitimate a$$hole and that’s fine. But nikkas tryna make like he’s anything BUT that look crazy to me. I feel like I’m the only nikka who legitimately listened and payed attention to this nikka thru out his career. It was easy to see. And none of what he’s doing surprises me.

I mean honestly the only person that really needed to “see” it was Drake (and maybe Cole) and he failed because he thought taking him on a lil tour would somehow make him his Jr for life or some shyt lol.

The saying is you should know your enemies better than you know your friends. Drake learned that lesson wayyyyyyy too late.

Like I said. He wasn’t a good enough emcee to hang with Kendrick and play the long game. Son just gave up when he had MAD angles he could’ve played. Son should NEVER try to battle real emcees again cause he’s not built to roll in the dirt.

The Meek Mill battle gassed him up. In hindsight its the worst thing that ever happened to him because it really warped his thinking that he was untouchable when Meek was just a fukkup

But a smart person would've taken the results of the Pusha battle and went "I gotta switch shyt up, there's clearly a different level to this shyt:hubie:" He didn't, he went in with the exact same strategy against someone else with not only a nasty pen, but another star who could get mainstream love and make hits.

Lmfao nothing manufactured about the beef...there was no drake bait either. Kendrick literally dropped 3 songs (including like that) WARNING drake not to lie or bullshyt about the family :dead:
Like That verse was the bait.
There's a part of me that believes that Kendrick wanted it to get personal so he could humiliate Drake

That's the thing, though. It was always going to get personal because that's what Drake does. On the very first track, he mentions Whitney
What Kendrick was able to do was maneuver in such a way so that he would not come off as a bully once he started stomping him
This. Based on the Control reaction and other shìt he knew how sensitive/far Drake would go.

Thats not what we're saying...

Drake had all his songs prerecorded way before kendrick even started working on his diss. People in his camp confirmed it. Family Matters was known before push up was even released. He was baiting kendrick with push up and TM, as FM was ready to drop.
Mal and Rory were literally chanting some of the lyrics weeks before all drake songs dropped

Kendrick did the same, but within a shorter period of time. He recorded something like 10 tracks after push up, and was ready to go to war depending on the angle Drake was gonna take.

The red button

I wonder what Kendrick was doing during the 2 weeks that followed push ups since drake fans telling me the whole industry (including artists, producers and insiders) is lying and kendrick already had these songs ready to go :flabbynsick::pachaha:

Like 2-3 days before "Euphoria" came out somebody on Twitter said they seen him at Whole Foods shopping without a care in the world.

Kendrick had the disses prewritten, not prerecorded. The engineer for Meet The Grahams confirmed Kendrick recorded the song that night and he got woken up to mix it.

Yeah I meant either/or but the over all point was the battle could've unfolded differently.

The idea that Drake could've dropped a "yes yes yall, to the beat yall" completely innocuous diss record and Dot still wouldve responded the same is lunacy.

Then again given Drake's history this was probably realistically the only way it could have went.

The whole beef was industry manufactured

It still prob was personal to k dot tho

This.

And it was obvious. We got some moments, some classics out of this courtesy of Kendrick, but this was really:

1) Rap needed some excitement. This I agree with.

2) Get Drake out the paint. Only one who could pull this off successfully is Kendrick because he's the only one relevant with cultural, commercial, and critical clout to do so. He's also the only one with a big enough machine behind him tto do it.

Nah he came with the more clever jokes than Kendrick in his disses. There's a reason why all the battle rappers outside Daylyt picked Drakes side.

Yall like to forget that his body guard got clapped outside his house while his son was home. Mad irresponsible to continue a battle after that.

Kendrick came with ALL the clever jokes in this battle. Matter of fact, if you were to make a top 25 jokes and quotables from the battle, all 25 would go to Kendrick. Not even up to debate.

There's only 2 jokes from Drake that people are quoting because of how bad they're aging.
