Kendrick lamar implies the beef wasnt personal. Wanted rap to be in the spotlight again.

Yea but that wasn't the point before

The point was that the labels would protect wheelchair jimmy from a NLU type diss if he was good terms

People would still rock with it but u wouldn't hear it playing at the Grammys if UMG doesn't want to dance on drake grave
Do you not see the fallacy in what you're saying?

Story of Adidon was everywhere and has millions of views on YouTube and was a more damaging diss to drake

Meek diss did was also a bop everybody fukk with back to back

NLU was a easy listening catchy diss like hit em up but was mid unlike euphoria

But that doesn't matter because UMG already had KDOT as the winner of this beef because they on beef with wheelchair jimmy

I can literally hear Drake's fist up your ass as he puppeteers your posts

So u don't think the label had a play in this beef?

I mean wouldn't drakes boy lucian come to the rescue
I think with or without label favoritism Kendrick would have won

I think if Drake was killing Kendrick they would have took his side

Why are you ok with favoritism towards one artist but not the other?

He warned him because he KNEW Family Matters was coming. He said it on Euphoria AND 6:16 in La and he knew Drake wouldn’t listen because he knew Drake likes using the woman against the rapper tactic.

Kendrick’s entire strategy was to expose Drake as so deeply illiterate of the culture that he wasn’t worthy of being part of it. He gave Drake a warning partly as a legit “You REALLY don’t want it like this” disclaimer. Partly as s threat to egg him on. And partly for theater. But the fact is that he GAVE the warning no matter the reason and Drake still went about it the way he went about it.

Whether it went personal or not Kendrick was obviously prepared whereas Drake was not.
That’s fair but could you not make the case that Drake knew Kendrick was going to take the angles he took? The pedi angle wasn’t a shock. Calling him a deadbeat wasn’t a shock. My only point is you can go in full circle on this thing. Somebody was always gonna say something to make the other go further. It’s the nature of the sport.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
All this he warned him shyt is stupid. That nikka Kendrick had the whole shyt mapped out since Push Ups. From the artwork to everything else. He "warned" him on Euphoria and Drake ain't said shyt else after that but at that point Kendrick already dug up the pics for the artwork n all that and dropped another diss track with part of the artwork on it. Kendrick was gonna cook this nikka regardless cause he legit can't stand Drake. shyt was never gonna be friendly.

Heard zero implication that it wasn't personal. Just that his main motivation was the competition. Kendrick always been on that type of time since he dropped the control verse. He's always believed there can only be one king. He wasn't gonna retire without decapitating Aubrey and Cole.
I wonder how Kendrick would of did against prime Nas.

They say he warned Drake on a song (Euphoria) that came out after the song (Push Ups) where Drake apparently violated by mentioning Whitney lol

This shyt was always just Kendrick stans tryna rationalize the whole thing with some fake righteous reasoning

Creating side narratives to pretend to be unbiased is the oldest trick in the tiny hat book :francis:

Im a known Kendrick hater, so Im the wrong one to care about that. But he dropped better songs and had better timing/strategy. Whatever behind the scenes nonsense occurred had no impact on the outcome. Drake been ripe for the picking since King Push took his manhood :manny:
