This album is the first time ive ever downloaded and kendrick stuff. Ive never check for this dude. Heard a couple tracks via coli or what not but I didnt know he was getting ready to release his debut. But im def a fan of this here. Im 30 which is old on here but homie made me a fan. The creativity of it made wanna listen to all the words and i found myself anticipating to hear the next skit. Im def coppin this and gonna support young dude. He def dropped a classic debut imo. Also mads me kinda disappointed cuz i know he'll never be able to duplicate this again. This is his illmatic of sorts.

the engineering mix on this is superb. Both this and the man with the iron fist soundtrack have superb technical mixing.

The thing is, one could easily argue that Section.80, which was also an album is better than this.

Too early for me to have a preference, but he's put out 2 great albums that followed a cohesive theme.

You should check out his album Section 80. A good amount of people would argue it is even better than GKMC.
