This is Kendricks 3rd classic album. Everything he was trying to do with Damn he did better and with less filler songs

Damn (no pun intended), this is a great way to look at it.

It really is kinda like Damn but better in terms of tone and approach. Big album you can play in stadiums but without compromising the artistic/lyrical value.

GNX and DAMN are his two "BIG" sounding records.
