but dot is still putting up some artist 1st week sales numbers in his 2nd month. Just a testament to the music being good and connecting with the masses

The commercial impact of this album is insane, indeed. Kendrick really knows what hes doing.

On the surface, it looks like he ain't promoting it, but he really had everything planned.

Of course, huge part of his strategy relies on the fact that he drops great music.

That's one thing I love about the streaming era. If you drop a quality project that people play over and over it's accounted for in the sales numbers. Think of the numbers of some of the classics if they got extra sales credits for people replaying the albums.
