Same dude said he wouldn't let his daughter marry a BM
And I wouldn't let my daughter marry a Mexican. I dont understand the issue with what he said. Most people don't want their kids to marry outside of their own race. My mom threatened me as a child and said I better not ever bring a white girl home (dad told me the opposite though lol)

I can’t fault Lefty’s reasoning for his comments. As a black man I feel the same way about my daughters. No excuse for featuring a Mexican who uses the N word though.

Maybe I'm too :flabbynsick: to feel outraged by this.

I don't know what convos Kendrick had with him before or after.

I don't know LA culture, I just heard it's very segregated between Black & Mexicans. If we're being honest, a LOT of the Coli will claim they don't want their Black daughters to marry non-Black men.

I think it takes time and maturity for these young non-Black rappers (and people period!) to understand it's not cool and it's disrespectful to say the N word. It can also fk up your business prospects long term.

There was a White girl rapper some time ago from the Bay that said the N word openly. Some rappers like Mistah FAB were defending her. Never heard from her again...

Jay Worthy - the Indian Blood "gang banger" - has stopped saying nikka in his recent tracks. Somebody probably pulled his coat and told him to stop that ish

But I look at it as a "teachable moment". These brehitos will learn over time IF Black people collectively & consistently check them when they get outta pocket.

A lot of Black people forgave Eminem for saying the N word and trashing Black women.
I'm not cancelling K-Dot over this. :manny:

Must be a Interscope thing, this did drop on that label along with his imprint. Never heard of any of these rappers until now. I’m getting old :dead:

You're tryna flip it but why would you want to make sense of someone who thinks negatively on a racist level about you ?

It's the principles of the matter; for example, I'm not interested in dating Mexican women, let alone outside of my race, but why would I sympathize and try to make sense of this form of rhetoric ?

People gotta stop trying to normalize racist and bigoted rhetoric as some sort of preservation. This is one of the key things that further drives racial sentiments, as it serves as justification in the minds of one who spews such opinions.

Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists have echoed those perspectives since the beginning of their inceptions.
-I asked who I assume to be a Black man a question because I wanted to hear the Black man's perspective. I don't care about the Mexican or what you're trying to twist a simple question into.

-I'm not asking do YOU wanna date out your race, it's do you want other young Black men like your son doing it. If you don't, why wouldn't you agree with the statement?

When I have kids I don’t want them dating non black people, I share his racism
-I assumed more people would've had some form of "I don't want Black men with Mexican women either" type of response since it's what I actually see in real life.
