It's an artistic video but this would have been a perfect time to go "really abstract" and re-frame the nikka word into something more universal than just the literal meaning of slapping a p*ssy ass "nikka". Since everybody says the word from little mexicans to HBO talk show hosts why not show nikkas of all sizes shapes and colors gettin smacced up?
I feel like he missed a golden opportunity to get people really talking again like he did with the Humble video.

It's recreating a lot of pictures that Gordon Parks made back in the day. He was a photographer that took beautiful pictures of black people, including gritty scenes that echo images that are in the video. I think Kendrick is presenting himself as a rap analog to go.
