Same way Kendrick only went platinum with a Drake single.

Kendrick fans act like he got a classic but I don't see the 5 mic reviews or Grammys or anything to quantify these claims.
Too bad to pimp a butterfly won a Grammy for best rap album and also went platinum.

The paid drake shills are going into overtime trying to rebuild drakes broken legacy :laff:

He's a pop act who doesn't write his lyrics or make his own songs.

It's over.
Snoop, Cube, LL, Kanye, Prodigy and others are considered legends aside from whatever assistance they got. Kendrick Lamar does pop songs meant to cheer up people so emotionally sensitive that they cut themselves.

Kendrick was all on Drake's dikk on that buried alive intro. Drake managed to do views and more life since the last time we heard anything from Kendrick.

Views and more life are absolute garbage.

Some of the worst music I've ever heard.

:gucci: You just talkin' out your ass now, son.
GKMC is an internet classic. It's not Illmatic or Life after Death or Death Certificate or something like that. It's probably the best album of our decade probably not but it is not the perfect album you would like to pretend that it is

That's speculation.

Drake told Zayne what's his name he refused to side with either Birdman or Wayne. Said he was Baby's boy on the French Montana record.

"Thank me later, thanks for nothin', thanks for bluffin'
Thank you so, so much for wearin' your true colors
To every single fukkin' function
Had nikkas tell me to my face how we were family
And how they love me while they were skimmin' off the budget
Now, when I see 'em, they're the ones that's actin' funny"

This ain't speculation that nikka talkin to baby

I don't get this shyt

Y'all making Drake out to be a deadly MC but he don't even write his own songs. That alone Drake should be disqualification from being a battle rapper.

Let Drake continue to do his pop thing, sell millions and fukkin bad bytches. Quit acting like a dangerous MC with battle skills cause we all know the truth.

This thread must be in the twilight zone, cause I know cats are not in here trying to make some canadian teen drama actor into an undefeatable MC :mjlol:

Drake never has, never will, and never can come out with disses that actually hit hard. His fanbase is impressed by his ghostwritten rants over soft beats because their brainwashed white/asian kids thinking that by listening to drake they've been inundated with real, authentic hip hop and can comment on anything related to Hip Hop:mjlol:

Has Drake ever come out with an "Ether"? "No Vaseline"? "Hit Em Up"? "Long Kiss Goodnight"? Nope, not even a tad bit close. Just imagine if that confused mulatto pop singer debuted in the 90s with those weak disses, he would've been ran out of America :bryan:

He is neither an MC nor a threat, he's powerless without his ghostwriters penning his responses. Have people's standards seriously dropped this low :deadmanny:

Remy"s problem wasn't doing a diss. That's like saying Meek's problem was making a diss.

1. The ghostwritten Pap lines sounded way too similar to preexisting Pap lines and the delivery was exactly like his

2. The lyrics didn't match the beat well

3. Using the Ether beat was unoriginal. Only a certain caliber of mc is supposed to use it and everyone whoever used it didn't live up to the original

4. She was literally bragging like she's getting more money than Nicki

5. 2000s style punchlines that are looked at as corny and done to death in 2017

6. Disloyal rapper talking about disloyalty

7. Trying to hold Nicki's brother's actions against Nicki. Talking about another man's legal case

It was a complete mess
Are you the slow 400lb nikka in the videos that got left back several times in high school? My bad, I can't hold a conversation with retarded nikkas; I understand why you're a drake fan so disregard my post.

I honestly care more about the quality of the music than who writes the songs. I'd bump Chronic over any lil flip cd. Beanie Sigel's empire strikes back freestyle was absolutely a collaborative effort and nobody cares. It's still more fire than "wanna know". Drake's first big hip hop check was ghostwriting for Dre so we know he writes for others. We know Bigges came up with "we don't lease we buy the whole car" line.

What's more important to me is if your bars match who you are. I'm more offended at a non smoker like 50 talking about getting high all the time then Drake talking about being with his friends in Toronto.

There's more to rapping than writing. This explains why QM's own music is unlistenable.
