I have a feeling it won't leak until like you said, maybe Thursday night, and the iTunes drops at 11pm that night anyways (east coast at least).

IMO It's gonna be day after tomorrow no matter what, if I had to bet money.

And Thursday night is pretty crazy to me. I haven't been in touch with current marketing and promotion stuff in music, but this is a fast turnaround, right? I feel like Humble just dropped, and I was expecting this album to drop May/June maybe.

Am I off on that? Or am I right and this is a quick announcement and release?

For him, it's par for the course

I barely remember the lead up to GKMC, and TPAB was announced and released rather quickly

EDIT: actually GKMC had a slow and more traditional marketing lead in, not to mention the number of tracks that people thought would make it in but didn't.

Many big artists drop like this now. Real quick rollouts or no rollout at all, just drop the project (Beyonce, Cole, Hov, etc). Some take longer but not by much. I think Weeknd's album came out a few weeks after the single right?

This the new wave breh. Future - Future was announced on a sunday I think, then dropped on Thurs or Friday. Then the next week, Hndrxx was announced Monday and dropped Thurs or Friday. Both went to #1 and sold good.

its pretty quick, but I think they're right to drop it so soon after the single, specially since its killing the charts
