What's Kemdrock's appeal? I don't get it.

What his best album front to back, I don't mean hits I mean the best body of work made with passion.

I would say go listen to Section 80 and you will see just how talented he is. Then go back and listen to to Good Mad Kid City then listen forward from there.

Even the first joint I heard from him Overly Dedicated is note worthy as well but he was less polished back then so that's why I recommend Section 80.

DAMN. is a classic album but TPAB is the album made people put kendrick in the biggie, pac, andre 3k and jay z conversation. I think he's a got a good 2 or 3 more classics left in him. Kendrick is going to displace Nas to be the GOAT. He's top 2 or 3 atm.

Kendrick can't put together a verse like Drake can without fake aggression in his voice cause the bars aren't though enough. Drake can sing-song the most disrespectful shyt with swagger and have the spot rocking. And when he bars up he comes straight at you.

Kendrick will pull out some gangster tales form the neighborhood for street cred but he ain't really the Nas he claims to be. Dude is all project window vibes. And yall fall for it because the production sounds "hip hop"

Meanwhile, people are living their lives and making memories to Drake's music.

DNA, ELEMENT, FEEL, HUMBLE, FEAR, LUST, XXX, DUCKWORTH are some of my favorite songs to drop this decade. This album is the easiest listen out of his body of work so far. People wont appreciate this album until Kendrick drops his next project just like Section 80 and TPAB.

I don't even remember what the concept aboit it was

Only thing I remember about it was LOVE was the most generic song I ever heard

I like the album a lot but honestly there’s not much of a big concept to it imo.

I believe not having a big overarching concept to this album made it much more digestible for me. Not that his previous album were hard for me to digest yet it made this album a much more smooth and impromptu listen.
