My only thing with this Apple Interview is Kendrick being overly mysterious again. Why was he dancing around what "Blood" was about"? Its an interlude less than 2 mins. He is being over the top now. Tone it down a little Kendrick. Now with TPAB i can understand because that is so deep and complex but not explaining simple tracks? Its an interlude!!
It's the "if you give it away then where will the mystery be?" Strategy. Think about it, This album has spawned so much debate and theorizing on its true meaning that it spun off into a crazy angle where a good portion of the fanbase actually thought he'd drop ANOTHER album three days after the first one because....Christianity. If he gives us the true answer then there's no debates or theorizing or playing the album backwards while reading the Bible in native Latin to figure out the exact date of the end times as you listen to the first verse of every song on the next solar eclipse.
That's all HYPE that only helps the album's continued buzz
I def got the Ross album over this. Kendrick is still that dude though.
