Didn't want to rush to judgement and post to early but after multiple listens I think this is near classic status. Not a weak track on here and lots of exceptional ones on this joint. Kendrick has come correct again and I don't see how someone who like RAP music can think this is not a damn good album. Just like ALL his other ones.

Its an instant classic. Its better than both s80 and gkmc which are classics too.

I've been playing the album non stop since it came out honestly don't think there's a weak song on here songs like GOD, LOYALTY, PRIDE AND LOVE have really grown on me a lot. I find myself singing GOD and LOYALTY from time to time lol.
Honestly, at first I was taken aback at Loyalty/Love/God:huhldup:

...but, now I wake up humming that shyt:pachaha:

Humble is the only weak link, tho, :yeshrug:

Kendrick has the unique ability to describe what it's like growing up black the same way Atlanta does a good job showing how it feels to be black. FEAR is one of the best summaries of growing up black in the city and how that simmering worry of death or prison works when you are growing up. The saddest shyt is when you make it past 25 and you recall how many family and friends did not. That's what that song especially made me feel/recall and that is something truly incredible. At the same time that it's reflective and introspective it has to speak to a lot of us out there, at least I feel like it does for me , my friends and my relatives. Those are my thoughts. Still like tpab more tho that's due to my great uncle putting me on to jazz now that I'm out my twenties.

Its better than any of their albums apart from the Infamous. Its also better than hell on earth too.

HOE doesnt have any rnb/cross over songs. Plus Drop a Gem, Nighttime Vultures, More Trife Life, Get Dealt With, Hell on Earth, Still Shining, and Apostles Warning are > any song on here. This album is "good" but chill.

Prodigy is a better rapper
Havoc's beats are far superior.
Infamous and HOE are simply untouchable in terms of consistency.
Murda Muzik has a few missteps but the highs are much higher than GKMC.
No one wants to listen to all those ways to kill other black people on a 1 hour LP

it's outdated for that very reason
