I dunno bruhs, I just dunno. Half this album sounds like Kendrick trying to sound like Big Sean. I get that most of his detractors slam him for just having 1 style, so I get trying to be versatile. But he's far and away THE BEST at what he does, there's no need to try and diversify :ld:

You weren't in Jamaica with family or friends. You're a homosexual so your Jamaican friends and family already excommunicated you. This fakkit thinks he's slick :heh:
I have a house waiting on me there.

Whats all this "gay shyt" with you?

Some of you fukkboys are really lost out here.

This is why I donate to mentorship programs. :picard:

Lupe is not in the same lane as Gates at all, he's pretty much the undisputed king of "reflective rap" lol. Lupe is high concept to a fault.

From a lyricism standpoint, I'd completely understand why you'd feel Lupe shyts on Gates. You ain't gon tell me that Lupe's introspective music is fukking with Gates's introspective music at all though in terms of raw emotion, delivery, clarity and detail. Kevin Gates can take you into his world in a way that Lupe simply can't.
@Zero I know you read this shyt breh :sas1:

Time to talk about the new Kendrick Lamar album

*Reads the past 20 pages about Drake*

Every. Single. Time .

Anyway off first listen this project definitely resonates as high as Section 80 and TPAB. This one definitely has replayability on it. I like how he seems to respond to his critics with definitive statements on damn near every other song. Stuck to his guns with his sentiment on Blacker The Berry too. :salute: Hooks were kind of light. The U2 and Rihanna songs were way better than I expected

I'll give it a few more spins for a proper review but it's a strong 4/5 off first listen.
