Again with this "understand" nonsense.

Bruh I grew up on reggae with more complex political content, rhyme schemes, and realistic social content that some of y'all ever ever grasp. Especially when it comes to love and loss.

This dude is not going over anyone's head.

Y'all are wannabes in reality that's why you gotta pretend you all are these activist radicals who are well read.

You're not. That's why people who actually are the winners in life see through this stuff. We enjoy the stuff you claim isn't "real rap" because we have shyt to celebrate.

Kendrick is trying to live out his Sunday school struggles by pretending to be some hood Leonardo da Vinci

That fake ass Tupac interview should Have warned you all.
I'm not a wanna be anything sir. I am who I am and you are who you are.

You may not understand it or it just may not be for you. It may be over you head no matter how much reggae you listened too because reggae even roots reggae is not the same as rap music. With that being said again, to each his own.

Kick, Snare, Hi-Hat is some Hip-Hop basics when it pertains to Hip-Hop and drums.
Kick on the 1 and 3.
Snare on the 2 and 4.
Hi-Hats are 8th Notes.
Open/Closing Hi-Hat comes right after the second kick each time.

All I can say to that is listen to more Hip-Hop,
I mean seriously, the drums are basically a recreation of whatever that sample was that was used on The Most Beautifullest Thing and Incarcerated Scarfaces.

Bruh people are quoting shyt off MORE LIFE more than ever will from a Kendrick project. Freddie Gibbs got robbed. Sean will feel he doesn't get respect. Ross just gets ignored.

Kendrick is not playing on a fair scale.

Everyone is playing on the same scale, Kenny just the best.

People quote cat In the hat more than 1984 too breh

Oh great, the Drake Hive is here to ruin this thread with their insecurities.

They're like Kobe stans whenever LeBron comes up.

And drake has went in right? Lol
Nope,but that's not his angle.
Kendrick is being cited because he acts like he's bout that, with all this symbolism and 2pac interview splicing.
But really he's shook.
He's never gonna go in like cube, pac, ice t,chuck,scarface,paris,x-clan,dead prez, krs, nas etc,

nikkas mad they like a song they would otherwise hate if the rapper was different

Duckworth might be onto something after all :loldenzel2:
I know nikkas gonna feel a certain way if you critique certain things when it comes to K Dot...

But it'd be disingenuous of me if I gave praise to K Dot for joints like GOD and Love when the coli universally clowns Logic's corny ass for the same shyt. :patrice:

But hey... :hubie:
